Exact same problem here! I have been on the phone with Everyday Rewards and Woolworths Online. Neither will help me. I'll try ringing the other number
provided. (03)9908 3784 |
And the saga continues. Rang the number for the PLEXUS ( in charge of Woolworths Comps) spoke to lady named Kathryn. I explained my gripe , she said
she'd look into it and get back to me. And yes, true to her word, she rang back next day to tell me to ring the Everyday Rewards Hub because no-one
there at Plexus knew what was happening! LOL. And this comp is plastered all over the ice cream freezers...... what a joke! |
Hey, this is my experience and may answer some of your questions...
I bought 2 tubs and didn't get any trigger emails, I called woolworths and they put me on hold to call the "competition department", he eventually
came back to me to say it had been sorted and the trigger emails will be sent that day.
Still nothing, so I sent an email. The response was:
"I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the trigger emails after purchasing the ice cream.
I have looked closely into your account and have confirmed that you are currently not subscribed to receive Woolworths supermarkets emails. In order
to be eligible to receive the trigger emails, you have to be opted in to receive marketing emails for supermarkets.
If you would like to subscribe to this, please let us know and we will gladly fix that up for you. For the inconvenience caused, I have added 2000
points on to your Rewards account. In 24 hours that will convert to $10."
I could have sworn I was subscribed so I logged into the Everyday rewards app and noticed under "communication preferences - Email, SMS and Post"
there was a little coloured square that read the word "new". Under "Everyday rewards partners the woolworths option was not turned on so I turned it
on that day (23rd).
I then emailed the person back to say thanks I thought I was subscribed and I'll assume the 2 trigger emails would still be coming through and his
response was as follows:
"I am sorry to hear you had not received your trigger email. Looks like you have successfully subscribed back into supermarket emails on the
23/05/2022 via our website, it dose take about 4-6 weeks for subscriptions changes to take effect, unfortunately this means you will not get a trigger
email.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to resolve this for you."
Then I looked up the terms and conditions that read:
"Entrants who are opted into receipt of marketing emails from the Promoter as at 12pm AEST on 27/4/22 (and
have not since opted out), will then receive an email (“Trigger Email”) within 96-hours indicating the Surprise and Delight Prize they have
won."
I'm pretty annoyed as I bought another tub after his first email not realising the 3rd tub wouldn't be an entry, but I guess it's good to know that
hopefully this won't happen in any future comps now I'm opted in...
I'm guessing the "email, sms and post" section in the app has always been there and the "new" icon in the app that I saw was referring to the new
brands they have just added to this section?
Let me know if your communication preferences are turned on? looking back I think I was checking under "push notifications" which were all turned on
and maybe I assumed this was all I had to do.

My entry did trigger a response a couple of days later, I got 10 reward points is that even worth 10cents ? |

I have always received marketing emails from Woolworths... sometimes 3 or 4 a day. However because i didn't get a trigger email after my first
purchase i rang Woolworths Rewards to check that everything was ok. It was! So, like an idiot, I purchased another Ben &Jerry's thinking it may
have been a technical issue or something. But no! No email and after many different phone calls, no one could really say why, so I have great concerns
about any of these comps we enter where we just swipe our Rewards card and are entered into the comp ( ummm, maybe entered) ( eg the current Dolmios
one). I get the feeling that there is not good communication between the promotor eg Ben & jerry's and Woolworths rewards. A comp like this where
there is some feedback on the "swipe" eg: trigger email, has for me, highlighted the possibility that they are huge money making scams! |

sounds very dodgy and makes me not want to bother with their comps next time. |

I purchased two tubs and got no follow-up emails.
I too, rang the Plexus number and she is emailing the marketing department in charge of this promotion. I have been given the runaround by Everyday
Rewards and Woolworths Online (to whom I was forwarded onto).
So frustrating! |

I got a long email back from everyday rewards anyway its looking like they only have 1 entry for me (I bought on the 16th got email on the 17th then
went inshore bought my 2 get 1 free they haven't even got dates correct
...........................Upon having a look, we can see that you purchase two tubs of Ben and Jerry's and received one for free as per the offer.
In the email that you received we can also see that it has provided you the confirmation that "you're in the draw to win a $1,000 Digital MasterCard
in the Show Me The Dough Competition." for the purchase on the 18/05/2022. We currently are not able to see your second entry as this is the one that
we are able to see in your account. |
