We travel with a 'multi cash currency card'. (Available through travel agents). Banks and Aust. Post offer similar cards. You can withdraw cash at
ATMs anywhere, or use as a debit/credit card. Can load and transfer from currency to currency online, anywhere, anytime, with a login and password.
Can cancel instantly too. If you ever come home with left over spending money, just convert into AUD and either spend as normal using pin, withdraw
from an ATM or transfer into your account. We have had our for a few years and reload it before travelling. Don't see many travellers cheques around
any more, so not sure how easy they are to get changed? Certainly not as convenient. Enjoy Spain. Fabulous place. |

We travelled to Scotland and Italy last year and used the BP Velocity card without any problems.
Can load with different currencies, which was easy with the app and then convert back to AUD. As always fees are in the mix. |
