Advice for booking flights to Hamilton Island
Hi guys, I would love to fly from Avalon airport (Geelong), arriving in Hamilton Island. They don't have a direct flight. I'd be happy to fly to
Brisbane and catch another flight. I just don't know how to go about it. I really need help.
Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Be cheaper to get a direct flight, you can fly from Brisbane , but you would have to work out what works out the best logistically but trying to make
connecting flight yourself can be a bit tedious, if you can get melb Tullamarine to Hamilton , it could be possible that getting yourself to Melbourne
s Tullamarine to take a direct flight is a whole lot easier than trying to connect up flights yourself.
When the world says give up
HOPE WHISPERS
try it one more time.......

I booked a direct flight from Tullamarine to Hamilton but then Virgin cancelled it and made me go via Brisbane, added about 2 hours to the travel
duration (month after cyclone though). My tip if you can avoid stopovers I would avoid them (as you can end up missing connecting flights and if you
booked them yourself you might end up out of pocket)
Sorry not much help for your actual question. I hope you have a great time :-) |

Thanks guys, for all your suggestions, they are very much appreciated. I think that flying direct would be much better.
Plus, I have joined Skyscanner. Thanks Herebluecat, this will come in very handy. |
