Due to continued posts that have failed to be titled with adequate information to ensure that people have an idea of what a thread is about without opening it, I am posting this thread to alert people to the Netiquette thread (found here: that has been on Lottos for quite some time now and is bumped fairly often for new and old members alike to discover, or rediscover, the details included within.

I am not just talking about the news items being posted as that topic has been discussed at length by members.
What I am talking about is posts that have obscure or vague titles.

A post that is titled Help isn't going to necessarily get you the help you need.
A post that is titled Computer help please or After some family advice please is more likely to get those that are savvy in those areas looking at your posts.

Please read and follow the information below & thankyou for taking the time to make things easier for everyone.

Subject Lines.

Never leave a subject line blank or filled with obscure wording in order to draw attention.

Use brief, descriptive and specific subject lines. This helps others decide whether your particular words of wisdom relate to a topic they care about. People have varying amounts of time, access, and bandwidth. Allow people to easily choose for themselves what they do with each.
