Sweep for managing comp sites |

oh, god.......I remember installing this last year sometime and trying for a week or so to figure out how to use it.....I don't think I've looked at
it since......will have to give it another go.

I've downloaded it and think I've got the hang of it. For those who use it how do you find it each day? Do you have to go to your downloads to
retrieve it? It doesn't seem as though you can save it in your favourites

1. cut and paste the file to where ever you want it in your computer. Ie my document folder or where ever.
2. Right mouse clip on the file .
3. Select "send to" "desktop"
This will create a shortcut on the desk top that you can then open the program from.
You can drag and drop or cut and paste the short cut to where ever you want it also, ie the quick launch tool bar etc.

can u save the whole thing to usb so u can take with u if u go away? i saved it to transfer to my laptop to save typing all of it out again and when i
open the usb it doesnt work. seemed to just save a shortcut |

I've trialled this for a couple of days but decided I prefer comptracker. I've finally got myself a system going with comptracker and it's a bit too
hard to try something different now that I'm loving comptracker.

Thanks for letting everyone know about sweep. How fantastic is it??!! I've just started using it, but I have a question if anyone could help.
When using the TYPE button to fill out a web form, I can't get it to fill in check boxes i.e. the web form has gender, then a tick box for male, and
one for female. How do I get TYPE to select female? |

I've been using it for years & it is so easy to keep track of competitions. Here are a few notes at the time to get me started.
When you first download Sweep, it will have lots of American stuff in it. You will need to delete everything, so you can start with a clean screen.
Select all the entries, R click & Delete, until they are all gone
To put Competition from Lottos into Sweep
Have the competition open in Lottos
In Sweep, click NEW & type name of competition, then OK
On Lottos, highlight the link that takes you to competition by clicking & dragging to end until it is all blue
Right click on the selected link & choose COPY
In Sweep, right click in top box under Web site & choose PASTE
In Ends On Box, click down arrow, then back arrow at the top until you come to month the comp is finishing, then click on the date that comp ends
In Repeat Box, choose if the comp is DAILY, WEEKLY or if it UNLIMITED then choose EVERY 15 MINUTES
In Rules & Comments you can copy the prizes from the Lottos site & the Date & Time the comp is drawn
If there is a question that needs an answer, put ANSWER here too so you can copy & paste that onto entry form after it is filled in
To enter comp click GOTO
Dont forget to click DONE after every entry, as this will keep count of the number of entries. This is very helpful when you are allowed 100
entries. You can do 20 at a time & know where you are up to
To Delete an entry after comp has finished - Select the Entry you want to delete from the list and right click your mouse button. Then select the
Delete Item option from the popup menu. You'll be asked to confirm the deletion. |

How will this be better than comptracker or good in addition to comptracker? Does it work on a MacBookPro?

Love my sweep! Does anyone know if there is any such thing I can put on my Ipad plz. It would be so handy to add all my shopping comps into. Thanks

Sweep comes pre-filled with stuff. I deleted what was there, then went to OPTIONS and unticked everything, especially the download options, otherwise
it just keeps adding more. Most of which I think are American.
I use Comptracker and SWEEP.
