The comp is from the latest Fresh mag from Woolies. There is a full page spread advertising Sealord. But the comp is very small at the bottom of the page.

I'll watch out for it on the products. If the sites not up soon I'll email them to find out more about it.

in the last few comps Sealord havn't had any promo stickers on the outside of the boxes, you just get an ef inside the box (with a unique code ) and then not every box has one in it.I have found ef's inside the products that have the grey make a wish ( or something like that) on them.

hopefully they have changed it then. Last time heaps of people had to send through copies of receipts just to get the codes sent out in the mail.

To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase a specially marked Sealord frozen seafood product from any participating supermarket between 16/02/09 and close of business on 27/04/09.

To enter, entrants must visit, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details including their unique code found on the pack, email address, name, street address and phone number and submit the fully completed entry form during the promotional period.

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is only open to Australian residents.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrants identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; (c) limit one (1) entry per unique code; and (c) limit of five (5) entries per person per day.

Entrants may not make more than five (5) unsuccessful attempts to enter their unique code per day. If an entrant does make five (5) unsuccessful attempts to enter their unique code, they will be blocked from the promotional website until 9am AEDST or AEST (whichever is applicable) the following day.

Entrants must retain a copy of their purchase receipt(s), as well as their original unique code(s), found on the pack, for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrants entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

Promotion commences on 16/02/09 and ends for purchases at close of business on 27/04/09. Entries close 11:59pm AEST on 27/04/09. The draw will take place at Saatchi & Saatchi, 70 George Street, The Rocks NSW 2000 on 04/05/09 at 12pm AEST.

Winners will be notified by mail and winners names will be published in The Australian on 18/05/09.

The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The first ten (10) valid entries drawn will each win up to $1,750 worth of accommodation to use at a holiday property listed on, subject to availability. Each winner will receive a customer services contact at Once the winner has found a place to stay on the website that is available, they will need to contact the customer services representative. The accommodation of each winners choice will then be booked and paid for on their behalf up to the amount of $1,750. Winners can choose accommodation over $1,750, but they must pay the difference at the time of booking. The prize is subject to standard terms and conditions which can be found at Winners must also agree and adhere to the individual property owners terms and conditions. Any consequences for breaching any of the above mentioned terms and conditions will be worn by the winner. If cancellation is caused by the winner, the full accommodation fee is not refundable unless the property is re-let for the entire period. If a refund is made due to the property being relet then a $50 cancellation fee will still apply. Spending money, meals, insurance, transport to and from the property, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken within 12 months of the initial draw date and is subject to booking availability. The $1,750 prize must be used for a single holiday and a single accommodation venue. In the case that a winner does not redeem the full $1,750 of the Stayz accommodation, any remainder will not be awarded as cash and will be forfeited by the winner, and returned to the Promoter.

During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.

The winner (and any companion) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.

Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.

Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.

If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.

Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.

If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

Total prize pool value is up to $17,500.

Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 04/09/09 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners names will be published in The Australian on 18/09/09.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Not sure if anyone knows the answer to my question but I don't buy Sealord products because they were part owners of those whaling ships that invade our waters this time every year. I remember someone doing some research into this in one of their last comps and Sealord were in the process of severing their ties with the whaling industry. Does anyone know if they have done this before I buy their product ?

Thanks for th info. Looks like the site is getting ready to launch.

I found Sealord in the frozen section ( I was looking for canned fish). I got some but it had no sicker. Stocks are low so hopefully the next batch has some stickers. Good News is hubby liked the beer battered fish so Im all set to stock up

It would be interesting to know about the whaling though.

oh bugger, forgot they had to be specially marked. Thanks for the reminder - but no, my Safeway hasn't any specially marked coz if they did I would have noticed and grabbed them. Also the Sealord products at my IGA aren't specially marked either.

I haven't see any yet, but cant be far off from stocking our shelves.

By the way it was the first time I brought the Sealord fish and hubby loved the Beer Battered fish so Im all set to buy up once its out. I reacon the Lemon pepper one would be yummy too.
I didn't get to try it yet, hubby ate it all. Not all at once though.
