PO Envelopes have got thinner, etc.
The business size envelopes the PO used to sell were quite good, thicker & stronger than cheaper ones.
Having just got another pack a few days ago, am not impressed - they seem to now be thinner than before (so easier to get ripped for NAP & 25wol
on BOE only) plus the glue down strip part on envelope flap is now about 1/2 the width it was, so less area stuck down.
Thinking it might need a sheet of folded paper inside envelopes or something to fit inside to boost up the strength of the flimsy things, esp. for
BOE entries only.
What do you all think? - or does anyone know where you can get better envelopes, not much choice in country areas tho. The Coles ones were even
worse, had one of them come back to me return to sender & was just ripped a bit at top which they had repaired with sticky tape, but had returned
to me rather than send it to comp. place. There was nothing inside it so missed out on being able to enter thanks to thin envelope. |

I think the tudor ones are the best, see marketing with comps works!!
Will never go with another brand now, nice and thick, cant see through them, worth every cent.
Just my opinion. |

Griffin,
I always put a piece of paper inside all my envelopes. I think they would be too thin otherwise and get caught in the post office machines... |

I recently bought a cheap pack of envelopes and they were very poor quality just like the ones you described Griffin. I'll only ever buy a good brand
name now.
Not only do you have to put a piece of paper in the cheaper quality envelopes, you also need to use glue or sticky tape to stick the flap down.

I always bought the "Premium" envelopes (they may have been Tudor) but noticed they werent on the shelf at Woolies last time I went and ended up with
very thin scrappy ones, most disappointing, I was thinking of getting the PO self stamped ones as they were nice and thick but think I had better have
another search form my old favourites at other shops!
