Independent Weekly win a DP to see The Hypochondriac.
HOW TO ENTER
Written in 1673 by one of the greatest masters of comedy in western literature, France's Moliere, The Hypochondriac is a passionate expose on
humanity's fear of mortality and its wondrous capacity for self-delusion and hysterical leaps of faith.
Some 336 years late,r Brink's exuberant new adaption, by Melbourne-based writer Paul Galloway, ensures it is as hilarious to today's audiences as it
was when 16-century doctors were shoving strange things in even stranger places. Galloway’s most recent play, Realism, won the 2007 Wal Cherry award
for Best New Play and was short-listed for the 2007 Patrick White Award. Galloway’s adaption of The Hypochondriac stars the cream of Adelaide's
comedic actors, including Paul Blackwell and Carmel Johnson, in a riotous night of misdiagnosis and medicinal mayhem.
The Hypochondriac will be playing in the Space Theatre from 5 to 22 and we have three double passes to give away to the August 4 performance at
7.30pm.
