How long before your first win?
Hi,
I'm still fairly new to the site, been here a few weeks.
Haven't had an official win yet, although the 14 hours replenish comp said I won, but waiting for an email on that.
Just wondering how long it's taken others to get their first proper win after joining the site, and what your first win was?

Have only been seriously comping for the last month, first win was a kids DVD. Took a couple of weeks for competitions to finish, have won a few
little things since then. Still hoping for a big one!

I think it took me less than a fortnight for a win when I first joined. I've had some great prizes over the years since then. No major holidays or
cars but I'm still hoping.
I've only just come back into comping again after about a year away from it. And it only took me a week to win again. (But that was because I
started at the end of the month and they are all being drawn now).
I don't think there is any pattern to wins. Just keep entering everything you can. That is how you maximise your chances. |

My first comp I entered was a newly posted SMS instant win & I did , prize was a $1,200 Sony Ericsson Mobile .I nearly died from shock but it got
me hooked very quickly

My first win was from a 25wol radio comp and I won $5000 furniture voucher.
Now anyone in my house complains about my hours spent comping can sit on the floor its about the only thing here we haven't won !!!! |

My first win about 2 months after I joined was a 25wol $5000 worth of Wish Cards.............fabulous!!!!!

I started comping long before Lottos was born (I joined lottos after I won a computer!), but the first two comps I ever entered resulted in major
prizes. |

The trick is to keep at it and stay determined when nothing much is happening.
Sharpen your WOL entries, enter the chance comps, and wins WILL come your way.
There have been a lot of big wins by members lately, you could be the next one.

Sorry for digging up the old post...
Signed up using the free 3 days on a Tuesday and spend afew hours entering comps...
Got a phonecall on the Friday saying I'd won a Bluetooth headset(!)
Signed up (paid) that weekend, and the following Monday I won a double pass to Where the Wild things Are
Hopefully I haven't used up all my luck yet - just getting stuck into the WOLs now |

I have entered 637 competitions and haven't won anything as yet, but will keep on trying. Starting to get a little disheartened, but make myself think
that one of these days you will get a phone call!! |

I'm also a new member still within the 3 day trial period, but became a paid up member yesterday.....
Before discovering this site, i thought i was so cool... albeit a little pathetic spending hours looking for comps around the place.
After winning $1000 Sportsbet betting voucher, 3 cartons of 'Red Angus Pilsener' Beer, An Amgrow Garden pack And another $200 Sportsbet voucher within
3 days..... I thought it was time to get serious
And Then... Yeeeeehaw!!!.... I discovered this site a few days ago....
Enthusiasm is riding high..... especially with about 9 million comps being judged/drawn in the next few dayz
Amazing site....
Good to see i'm not the only blighter looking for a few free comforts
What a community eh |

Awww
Have been spending half an hour to 2 hours a day trying to win for 3 weeks and nothing! As a single mother of a 2 year old studying and working
starting to thinking it's just not for me. Even just something little to pay for the scription would be nice
Must say luck is not usally on my side! Will keep trying for a bit longer but then proberly have to get back to more study time. Hope I get some luck

Been doing lottos for years and can say most years have never had good wins only ever won big twice in all that time it was $1000 cash and $1000 Red
Balloon voucher which i found very useless i am on everyday and do comps everyday |

It takes a while for the first prize to come in. Unless you're entering instant win comps, you have to wait for the comp to close, for them to
judge/draw it and then for them to contact you or send out the prize. It took about 6 weeks for me to get my first prize. Then for the first 9
months I got small prizes - movie tickets, DVDs, books, etc. My one and only major prize (a 2 night holiday to Victoria) took 9 months to come along.
Comping is great - and there are some fantastic prizes and wonderful people out there in "Lotto Land" to share them with. But it does take a LOT of
work and its not as easy as the Current Affairs shows make out. I comp for 8-10 hours a week and I can only do that because firstly I work part-time,
and secondly I LOVE it. You have to be a little crazy and very addicted to keep going. If you love entering the comps for the challenge, it's well
worth it. I started in this to make a HUGE profit, and found out that its best to do it just for fun.
Sorry - didn't mean to sound so serious Just have fun and enjoy the parcel post
man turning up each week with wonderful (small but nice) surprises. Oh - and always keep your fingers crossed for the big one - you just never know!

I've been on Lottos for about 4 weeks I think, I'm really enjoying entering everyday and coming up with the WOL answers, not that I've won from them
yet.... I did win a Hoyts voucher in the first couple of weeks on an instant win, so that will be good! And I won the door prize at my works Christmas
Party... an awesome Chi Chi make up set, am stoked with that!! Really
appreciate all the effort put in to get the comps up on the site for everyone, so CHEERS to you people! Lots of LUCK to you all... Saz. x |

Hi, I had my 1st win about 2 weeks after I started comping, it was a DP to The Boys Are Back - and I'm still waiting for the tickets to arrive, don't
know if they are lost or if its just Christmas snail mail!
I have also won the Lovable undies x 30 pairs value of $508, cant wait for this to arrive, hopefully before Chrissy.
and I won a radio comp (had to talk on the radio pretty embarrassed but I guess I will get used to it), for a family pass to Dreamworld and White
water world.

I have been comping for 4 or so months now, and always seem to have more than the average comps in... However I have not won a thing.
Will keep at it. Am getting married in 6 months, and anything would be nice to help out right now.
Not quite hisheartened yet. |
