Terms & conditions
1.Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2.Entry is open to all persons currently residing in Australia who are over 18 years and is the registered business owner of a general route store.
However, employees and their immediate families of Unilever Australia Ltd, Beinteractive Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not
eligible to enter. General Route Stores include but is not limited to cafes, food courts, corner stores and petrol & convenience outlets.
3.The competition commences on Tuesday 1 September 2009 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on Sunday 28 February 2010 at 23:59 (AEDT). Winners have until
Friday 30th April 2010 to claim their prize.
4.There are two tiers to this promotion.
5.Tier one: participants are offered instant win prizes when they order boxes of500mL Lipton Ice Tea 24s range in Lemon, Peach, Green Citrus, Mango,
Red and White Tea and Raspberry. A sticker will be placed in the outer of the box which will have one of three labels on it, bearing one of the
following messages and a prize claim number (PCN) on winning stickers or code word on non winning stickers.:
Label 1: “You are a winner of $10,000”
Label 2: “You are a winner of an ipod shuffle”
Label 3: “You are not an instant winner. Please SMS in to19 755 555along with your address to be placed in the second chance draw.”
6.Participants who are instant winners (Labels 1 and 2) will need to SMS in their unique prize claim number (PCN) and contact details to 19 755 555.
They will then within 48 hours receive a telephone call from a Unilever representative who will arrange delivery of the instant prize. Winners will
need to retain the original label in order to claim the prize, and a failure to do so will result in the instant prize being forfeited.

8.Tier two: participants are offered instant win prizes when a Unilever sales representative enters their store and is satisfied the merchandising of
the store meets the Lipton Ice Tea criteria. Sales representatives will then give store owners or managers of the store a card with a scratch panel
bearing one of the following two messages and a prize claim number (PCN) on winning stickers and a code word on non winning stickers.:
Message 1: “You are an instant winner of $ 2,000”
Message 2: “You have won a $25 Coles Express Gift Card.”
Message 3: “You are not an instant winner. Please SMS in to19 755 555along with your code word, name and address to be placed in the second chance
draw.”
9.Participants who are instant winners in Tier 2 (message one) will need to SMS in their Prize claim number to 19 755 555. They will then within 48
hours receive a telephone call from a Unilever representative who will arrange delivery of the instant prize. Winners will need to retain the original
scratch card in order to claim the prize, and a failure to do so will result in the instant prize being forfeited.

General terms & conditions for Tier one & two
11.Entries to the SMS number must include the winner’s unique prize claim number or non winners code word, full name, address and postcode. SMS
entrants will receive a reply message.
12.The SMS entry mechanic is only open to consumers with a SMS compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits text messaging to
the promotional SMS number. It is recommended that entrants check with their individual service provider in this regard.
13.Instant Winners must have a prize claim number per entry. Unrecognised prize claim number will not be accepted. Participants may enter as many
times as they like but only one entry per prize claim number is permitted.
14.1099x Instant winner prizes will be available to random valid entrants based on which tier they participate from. Participants will be notified
immediately from the sticker inside the outer of the box or the scratch card provided to them for tier one and two respectively if they are an instant
winner and what prize they have won. All winner messages are accompanied by a 6 digit unique Prize Claim Number as determined by Beinteractive Pty
Ltd. The unique 6 digit Prize Claim Number will need to be recorded by the participant for prize verification purposes. The original label and/or
scratch card must also be retained in order to redeem the prize. In the event of any dispute with the Promoter, or at the Promoter’s request, Instant
Winners will be required to correctly quote their unique Prize Claim Number to be awarded their prize. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the
awarding of an instant prize to a participant who cannot provide a valid, unique Prize Claim Number. Any unclaimed or un-verified prizes will be
awarded during the second chance draw.Entrants who are not instant winners will be notified that they have been automatically entered into the
unclaimed prize draw.
15.Instant win labels and or scratch cards will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
16.Printing errors or other quality control matters outside the control of the Promoter shall not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a
prize.
17.Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of prize
claims/second chance drawentries and claimants/entrants (including a claimant’s/entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any
claimant/entrant who tampers with the claims/entry process or who submits a claim/entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
18.Entrants (including winners) in the competition may enter as many times as they like provided they have made the purchase requirement throughout
the promotional period. One entry per box purchased it permitted.
19.Entrants who are not instant winners are able to enter into the second chance draw. The second chance prize is an iPod Shuffle valued at $129. If
there are any unclaimed prizes byFriday 30th April 2010 at 23:50 (AEST)unclaimed prizes will be included in the second chance draw.
20.The second chance draw willtake place at Beinteractive Pty Ltd, Level 9, 155 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, on Thursday 11 March 2010 at 14:00
(AEDT). Winners will be drawn to win the prizes outlined in condition 19. In the event that all prizes have not been claimed byFriday 30th April 2010.
An unclaimed prize draw will take place in accordance with condition 22.
21.The winners of the second chance draw will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the draw and will also be sent a letter advising them of their
prize. Winners of prizes valued over $250 will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Thursday 18 March 2010.
22.Subject to any written direction given under relevant State legislation, a further unclaimed prize draw will take place at Beinteractive Pty Ltd,
Level 9, 155 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on Wednesday 12 May 2010 at 14:00 (AEST) and winners of prizes valued over $250 will have their details
published in the Public Notices section of the Australian on Thursday 20 May 2010.
23.The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of General Route Store business ownership and/or proof of
entry validity (including a purchase receipt from the relevant distributor or the physical stickers they have used to enter with. If the customer
provides stickers/scratch card as proof of purchase, they will be required to provide not just their winning sticker/scratch card, but all other
stickers/scratch cards they have used to enter with over the course of the promotional period) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification,
residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable
proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
24.The Promoterreserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes
objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry
process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in
conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion
and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry are of a
type described in this clause.
25.Winning entries must be received by Friday 30th April 2010 at 23:50 (AEST). The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message is
received by the Beinteractive Pty Ltd database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including SMS
messages not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the SMS message due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other
reason. SMS entries via the internet or computer generation and not attributable to a valid mobile phone account is invalid and will not be accepted.
Winners may still SMS in to claim their prize up until Friday 30th April 2010 at 23:50 (AEST). Entries into the second chance draw will not be
accepted after the offline date of Sunday 28 February 2010 at 23:59 (AEDT).
26.Standard SMS costs apply and will not exceed $0.55 (including GST). Service not available from payphones.
27.Total prize value is up to $76,868 (including GST)
28.Prizes which are not outlined as cash cannot be transferred and/or be redeemed for cash.
29.Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including installation costs, required software, hardware or further
accessories) become the responsibility of the winner.
30.If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value,
subject to State Regulation.
31.Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
32.By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the
prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize.
33.In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby assigns to the Promoter all right, title and interest in and
to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the winner’s participation in any aspect of the prize (Works). The winner acknowledges that the
Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
34.In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s image and/or voice, as recorded,
photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with media or the advertising or marketing thereof, in
any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
35.In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element
of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
36.Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST).The promoter accepts no responsibility for
change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
37.Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
38.Should an entrant’s contactdetails change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter.A request to
access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
39.The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.
40.It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s
requirements.
41.It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its
absolute discretion.
42.In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with
the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures,
tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the
competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
43.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss)
or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter
is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated
with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of
this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile
or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
44.Unilever Australia Limited, Beinteractive Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or
alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
45.If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration,
security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any
individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition,
subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
46.All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this
promotion but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
47.Beinteractive Pty Ltd, on behalf of Unilever Australia Limited, is collecting the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting and
promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying winner). The entrant's personal information may be disclosed to
Beinteractive Pty Ltd for this purpose.If you are not willing for this to occur you cannot participate in the Promotion.
