Option for Andrew to consider
Hi everyone
Just recently rejoined Lottos after a bit of a break. I am entering a few competitions but finding I spend more time marking regional Comps as "Not
Interested".
I was wondering if Andrew, you might consider an option for me to select which competitions I am interested in viewing as part of my user profile.
This might include Regional competitions (I know some people enter on behalf of relatives etc, so it would have to be an opt in or opt out thing
rather than a default), SMS or Phone (some people would never want to see those, Mail etc.
Some people might want to see all comps, others like me automatically know that comps where you have to be a Pay TV subscriber, or a resident of NSW,
etc, I just dont want to see.

I'm the same with S & P comps (I don't bother at all 100% of the time)... but what if the comp is multiple entry.. i.e. u can entry via W + E, as
well as S&P... how will that work??
I also agree re not wanting to see pay TV and other states of Oz that I don't live in. But how will the sorting know, as if it's all states, the comp
poster does not highlight the states, but leaves it blank re all the states (get me?)
I reckon it's a good idea, but it would need work re the form when the comp is initially posted. |

then again... they will show up in the less than 10 days report, which is the one I use most anyway... so you'll have to flag them then... only if
it's a profile thing.... hmmm! |

Thanks for the comments - it seems that Timtam has a similar thread.
I was thinking that it would be part of your user profile so would come up in all reports.
I am sure that Andrew will think up something - he always has before! |
