Bright Star Premiere

did anyone have the miss fortune to waste 2 1/2 hours of the life last night??
As you can probably guess I didnt like it and thought it was nothing but a pile of twaddle. Glad to see so many people walk out.
One of the outstandig things that annoyed the heck out me besides the self indulgent attempts at cinematography was the fact that I counted 4 arrivals of snow and hence winter and yet not one of the characters appeared to age including the young and cute Toots???:D:D:D:D
Dont get me wrong i love period dramas and I am a romantic at heart but lordy that was draining.

I gave my tickets to my mum coz I saw a preview advertising this movie a couple of weeks ago when I went to see another movie..............I thought it looked like a a big yawn and wasn't interested in seeing it. Will find out what mum thought?

I didn't mind the movie, yes it was a bit slow and langorous. I didn'tsee people walk out until the end?

What annoyed me most was the people who arrived after the movie had started and stood in front of people blocking their view of the screen AND even worse was the rude person who didn't turn their mobile to silent or off after it rang the first time - we counted 4 calls that they received!

I saw it to last night but I actually didn't mind it. Yes some of it was a little drawn out. But I like the fact it was based on a true story and thought it really captured the life of the 18 century.

I've been studying Keats for literature this year, so I personally can't wait to see this movie. Everything that I've been reading about, his life story, for background context is all coming to life on the big screen. :)
