One of the more popular ways to list competitions is the All Comps Closing in 10 Days report.
Scan the subject lines, click the subject title of the competition(s) you want to enter for more details, like how to enter:

Hi, i'm a newbie,

Hi, I'm sargef, Been a member of lottos for 2 months now. I'm starting to really feel like i belong to a club. It's a great feeling. Haven't won anything yet, but that's o.k., still hopeful and i still really enjoy entering.
Thanks very much to all who participate in posting comps, help with answers to comp questions and all who generally just have a go keeping it competitive.
Thanks for giving me a new hobby, really enjoy it.:yes:

Hi everyone

I'm pretty new - just getting into this comping.
I have one great concern - some comps have DOB as a required field but I am very reluctant to include it for security reasons. What do others do?

good luck to all compers

I guess your concern is the potential for identity theft.

It's ultimately your decision as to how comfortable you feel disclosing information about yourself. Perhaps weighing up whether it's an Australian run competition, whether it's a well known and respected website, what their privacy policy is, whether they disclose information to third parties, whether they remove the data after the competition, whether they require DOB only for proof of identity if you win, whether the prize is tempting enough, should help in your decision making.

Hi All - joined last week - been mild comper for about six months, won the usual stuff like tix, vouchers etc which has been great - nothing large as yet.
Dont have loads of time to dedicate to it but just enter everything that comes along.

Question: does a scanned copy of a receipt count - have entered comps where there were two comps on one receipt. If it does not say "original" are you pretty much okay?

Cheers.

Yes that sounds good. :)

Hi all - I have been looking for an answer unsucessfully! Love the comp tracker and the comp entered export as a excel spreadsheet function but how do we delete the comps from the comps entered closed listing after we have imported our spreadsheet or is there a way to only import some of the information eg: just those comps that ended in June?

Hi - I have been a member since april this year 2011 but still feel very new.... I cant work out how to add a profile pic or avatar as it is called here - any help would be appreciated
and to the really newbies I recommend you read everything very carefully as i have had my only 2 comps that i listed and needed votes for removed due to it not being entered on the system properly and once its removed it is not allowed on the site again!!! so if you need votes for a competition read read read the directions.:sniffle:

I'm a newbie, just joined yesterday, found Sherry Sjolanders book a few weeks back and have been inspired to give comping a genuine try for 12 months! Excited to be learning new stuff :)

Hi Eagleswings,
Goodluck, luck is alot to do with it but so is hard work. Also you can't give up.
You might go yonks with nothing but you never know when the call is coming.
I had two good wins in the past couple of weeks with only one entry so don't have to spend big. Plus heaps of good wins from no purchase stuff.
