Do you suffer from hay fever - it is the season for it - can lead to blocked ear/middle ear infections/dizzyness - but worth getting it checked out.
Any fluid build up in the inner ear affects balance. |

going back a couple of weeks ago ,i just kept losing my balance all of a sudden . It was horrible ,my head felt funny like it was spinning and i was
walking like i was drunk. Went to the doctors and they said it was a virus and had already had 4 people in with the same thing .
I had an ear invection too . Hope you all feel better soon .
safer to get it checked out

I have had it many times. It really is not nice. There is a belief amongst the medical profession that once you have the virus it stays in your system
and can flare up again. Antibiotics are no good for a virus and even if it is a bacterial infection the ear is a notorious hard area to get the
antibiotics to.
Good luck it is an awful thing to go through but hopefully it passes quickly for you. |

My daughter who is 23 weeks pregnant had it & it lasted for approx a week. Unfortunately she was very sick each time she had a dizzy spell and
had to be admitted to hospital due to dehydration. All better now |

Yes one of my ears was blocked for a week and I could hear constant beating, quite annoying. fortunately I didn't have any dizzy spells. but went to
the doctor thinking I had an infection. My hearing was normal. she said it might be my teeth that had an infection. went to the dentist and there was
nothing wrong there. However, he did mention that if you grind your teeth or clenching hard down on them without knowing this can cause ear problems
as it's all connected. You can do it when you are stressed or concentrating on something. (it's the time of yr for it) I have noticed the last couple
of days I have been more concious of this and my hearing has come back. |

yep. a couple of doctors have told me the same thing melb, it lives in the vestibular nerve (the one involved in balance etc),
mine usually flares up if I have a severe sinus infection
I was advised to take mega doses of garlic/horseradish tablets when I had an attack, as well as Serc for the dizziness..one attack lasted 2 weeks
(THAT was horrid!)
hope you feel better soon kudos

Oh wow!
Thanks for this post... i have been feeling the same for the past few days but as i get hayfever i figured it was that, but didn't think the hayfever
was that bad at the moment. feeling a bit off with it as well... was sure i was going to throw up last night which is probably due to dizzyness. |
