surveys for kids?

I have a 10yr daughter who wants to earn extra pocket money but am looking for ideas that doesn't require it coming out of my pocket. Thought there may be someone that knows or has used a survey company that actually pays for kids opinions.

Don't know about surveys, but my daughter once decided to deliver leaflets, unfortunately it was me who ended up folding all the damn things and walking miles and miles delivering them. Typical kid, great idea but no follow through.:)

she's looked into the leaflet delivery but apparently there is none available in our area...although we never get any in our letterbox. I had said that if it wasn't in walking distance she couldn't do it as I didn't really need the extra job. thanks ...any ideas welcome.

You could try getting her to walk the neighbours dogs.

I think at 10 you are not going to find a lot of options outside the home and I doubt if any survey company will pay $$ for kids opinions...might even be a legal issue there.

You are better off keeping her safe by giving her jobs to do at home and then paying her some $. Perhaps you can offset it yourself by doing some surveys or focus groups etc...

Maybe chat to friends/neighbours and ask them yourself if they had any odd jobs they would pay a small amount for..

I used to wash neighbours cars with a friend when I was about that age. Back then (over 20 years ago) we'd get given anything from $2 - $10 per car. We actually used to make enough every year to buy all our families Christmas presents!
All the kids need is a bucket, some carwashing liquid, a few old towels and access to a hose. So it's cheap to do. But, a friendly safe street obviously needed too.

I'm a member of http://www.valuedopinions.com.au/ and they often ask for children in the household to complete surveys. From memory though, children are 12 - 17. And when I say often, it seems like often but it probably wouldn't be enough to satisfy her desire for pocket money.

I've received 3 $20 rebel sport vouchers in about 9 months!
