I've often wondered what happened to our so witty Professor, had been in contact with him for awhile via email only to have contact stop suddenly. I did know his partner was ill and that was the last I heard other than he'd gone back to England after her passing.
When I stumbled upon this thread I checked google regarding his childrens books & have just come up with this.

The Complete Book of Possum Creek Stories consists of 9 individual titles; The Lost World of Possum Creek, The Great Possum Creek Bush Fire. The Possum Creek Olympics, Possum One the Outback Rocket Ship, The Great Possum Creek Drought, Possum Creek's Big Flood, The Great Possum Creek Earthquake, Professor Cockatoo's Amazing Weather Dust and Possum Creek's exciting Moon Adventure written by Dan Vallely and beautifully illustrated by the late Yvonne Perrin (except for Possum Creek's Exciting Moon Adventure, which was illustrated by Zoe Bowles).

Know it doesn't help as to how he may be now, but found it comforting that his books are available to purchase.

I have these books and my children love them! They are beautiful and the sort of book that I am sure will be handed down for generations. Thanks Gypsy for sharing.

mozziewinsagain, that was his last post back in 2010. He is fondly remembered by those of us who were around back then but sadly not been heard from in a very long time. :sniffle:
