Comp Tracker EDIT wow! you can already keep track of how many times you enter each comp!
THOUGHT I'D PUT THIS AT THE TOP... FELLOW LOTTOERS HAVE KINDLY POINTED OUT WHERE TO GO TO GET THIS IMFORMATION: USER PANEL/COMPS ENTERED/ 2ND
COLUMN. SO I'LL BE PUSHING THE GREEN TICK BUTTON EVERYTIME I ENTER! LEARNT SOMETHING NEW!
I've got no idea how many times I've entered the blasted poppin popcorn comp. LOL. That happens when you are buying 3 at a time and using them or
giving them away.
Andrew, our clever website guru...is the anyway that we could have a ticker besides the Comp Tracker Entered button. So that it shows the number of
times you've clicked on Entered. Be a great and easy way for me to KNOW WHEN TO STOP BUYING because I've reached my self imposed limit. Would be handy
also with daily/unlimited web WOL comps.
What do other Lottoers think? Would it be handy to know how many times you've entered a competition or would it be wasting Andrew's time!

At the moment I record this info under personal notes, (when I remember), but prefer your idea and would definitely use this option if it were
available.  |

If you go to your User Control Panel, then Comps Entered, it will show the number of entries in the second column  |

If you click on the green tick with each entry it already keeps count of the ammount of times. You need to go into comps entered and the number on the
left is the ammount of times you have entered. So if you enter a comp 10 times, you mark it as entered 10 times |

Lizard. Thanks but I meant how many times I've entered an individual competition - I had an excellent spreadsheet set up but its never updated.....

No way! Sorry lizard...didn't know what you meant. Well there you go...I've learnt something! Thanks for letting me know! Should I delete this thread
or leave it until more people see it ... get the impression I'm not the only one missing out on this excellent function!
Must admit...would be nice to have number next to the the tick button on the actual competition page...suppose that would be lazy! |

lovabargain...lizard is right. It keeps count of how many times you've entered EACH comp. You just have to remember to click on the green tick each
time you enter.

As pointed out, it exists already, it's the number under the hash (#) symbol, eg:

And don't forget the when column gives you the date & time of your last entry....handy for those daily or weekly comps.

I thought the GREEN TICK at the top left e.g.
CompTracker - Mark As:
Entered (Members that have: 289)
Visit Again/Follow Up (Members that have: 64)
Not Interested/Not Eligible (Members that have: 168)
was just to indicate you'd entered. If you keep clicking it for every time you enter doesn't that just add to the TOTAL of comps you've entered rather
than how many times you entered that particular comp? Then your comp total would be false. I just click that ONCE when I enter a comp. Right?
I find it a pain to have to go into Control Panel & comps Entered and find the comp to click when I've entered it again...I don't do this.
Couldn't there be a tick in the Comp tracker section top LHS that you just click 10 times if you've just done 10 SMS's for that comp??? e.g # of times
entered???
OR
Am I missing something here.

This part shows how many members have entered the competition, not how many times they have entered:
Entered (Members that have: 289)
A member can click the Entered image anywhere (on the topic itself, on the Premium report showing the topic subject or via the User Control Panel. If
they click it multiple times from anywhere, it totals the amount of times it's been clicked and shows it as per the image in my previous post.

Wow, I didn't know that it keeps track of how many times you've entered. i've only ever clicked the green tick once. The number of comps I've entered
will definitely go up

Thanks Andrew - YES, I've only ever ticked the GREEN tick at the top left of the post once as I thought it was only for recording that you'd entered.
However I now realise that to tick it once, yes, records how many people have entered & that I have entered but to tick it for as many entries as
I've made just updates my entry record but not the TOTAL of entries...didn't know that!
Still you still have to go find the comp in Comps Entered to see the total.
