Favorite or Disliked Commercials
I'm listening to the television better known as the idiot box in the background and just listening to some of the commercials.
I have several favorite adds and some that are most annoying that I will mute them when they come on.
So tell me whats your favorite or most disliked add.
Favorites:
Commenwealth Bank Commercial- where she says " more..of them"
Whiskers Comercials
Windex add- where the magpies ring doorbell, and mans runs into glass door
Disliked
Good Guys
Tampon add - the one where they are dancing in the store
McDonalds add- the one with Shane Warne
Oak add- The one with guy who says hungry,thirsty
{I'll add more as I hear them }

Hate the Tampon add - the one where they are dancing in the store

I love the new Jetstar ad music....not sure that I like the message which I interpret as: if you have a great time on holiday it doesn't matter that
the trip there and back was *&^% !!
(I'm sure that's not what they had in mind.) |

favourite is:
New Zealand Insurance several years ago with Felix the cat who like to watch TV and the cocky on the perch in the lounge.
Theives stole the telly and the cat chased the cocky all over the house in fast speed
Racing across the draining tray full of dishes, the cocky flicks a cup off the sink at the cat going na na nanah nanah.
Then New Zealand insurance replaces the TV.
However there is a vase of flowers above the TV on a wall bracket which then breaks, with a voice over of OH NO and the process begins again
Loved this ad and remembered that cocky fondly for years

I love the jetstar ad epecially the bit with the granddad dancing at the party and I love the ad for Toyota where the kid is singing "on the road
again". |

I really hate the ad (for men's problem) where the wife can't reach up to the top shelf of the pantry. The husband comes out in a robe, opens his
robe, she looks down, smiles, then uses what she sees to climb up and reach the top shelf. Disgusting! |

The one with Sam Neill telling us to eat red meat
On Foxtel you have umpteen dozen Rooly annoying money grubbing insurance ads, toffee nosed Commonwealth Bank ads, eharmony dating ads.....
Kmart we love kids ad was nice, colorful with cheery tune

*I hate the tampon ad where the women go giddy and drop everything in the shops I thought it was for some hair product or even a sale but for friggen
tampons? wtf?
*I also don't like the new Myer ads...can't work out what to get for someone don't worry some random angel/s will come sing "stop in the name of love"
and you will find what you're looking for...apparently
*The ING ads with that creepy dude in an orangutan suit..Charles was it? weird just bring back Billy Connelly or have a CG lion as that is your logo
*The white pages ad where the creepy looking dude is all in white, playing a white piano and singing dreadfully.
*Don't like the new KFC Krushers ad. Trying too hard to be arty and new just for the sake of it. Makes me not want to try any of them, that and the
fact that they're at KFC
But most of all I loathe the new Big Dub ad. It looks rehashed from the 80s, but without the retro funk. Obscenely bright
Ken Done colours, a guy that sounds like a bad Randy Newman singing about finding a pretty new dress, wearing Bonds on his hips, wearing Olay. The
song, the whole thing is just horrid. Worst part is a have to hear it several times a day, 5 days a week pft worst ad at the moment 
I do like the SuperCheap ad though, where the guy pulls the car apart looking for the rattling sound, only to find his girlfriend has left a pair of
earrings in the glovebox
and I loved the Target ad. With the kids lying on the different backgrounds as they change. That would have taken forever to do and I love that song

Yes I agree kyabells, the Target ad is very clever and interesting to watch.
My FAVOURITE ad is the Cuddly one, where the little kids are saying "Thanks for making a cuggly wobe for me" ...that one pulls at my heartstrings
every time! I even wrote to the Cuddly company and told them how much I love it (never done that before) and now I buy Cuddly, which I've never bought
before (and OMG, fabric softener where have you been all my life!!??) |

Cannot stand that tampon ad - who gets that excited about tampons!!

3pm when kids are getting home and
miss 6 always asks what she is standing on |

Love the insurance ad (not sure which company) but the wife is getting in the washing and she has a sheet over her head and she is walking around with
arms out saying "motorboat, what motorboat"
I have a little smile every time I see it.
Tampon ad makes me cringe every time and makes woman just look silly. |

So love the rapping girl for pull ups if you want to do wees and poos. You are a big kid now. So hate the tampon add and any of the beer adds. Also
hate that mens product add also. Really have thought of ringing up and complaining about the time it is on. Would have thought that would not have
been allowed at that time of the day. Love the one with the orangutan Denis. He is really cute. |

Looove Barbara from bank world (ANZ ad's)
Like the old beer ad with the tongue & groovy music, like the new one too where the guy 'falls' into the trough of ice, ends up getting beers from
another party.
Funny tho' cos even the ones we don't like, still stick in our heads....thats advertising! Lol. Doesn't matter how you remember it, so long as you do!
Edit: also the ones about Supercheap Autos (??), the kid comes home by taxi, dad has car loaded with stuff from the shop.
there's another where the garage bulges with all the dads stuff, he's like "What?" when mum looks disgusted with it |

I think the smiling orangutan ad is an Optus ad.

Hubby drives me crazy singing this when it's on- so catchy....and he works for a rival car company!!!

I am having fun reading this thread. It is interesting that so many that I dislike others like!
It must be very hard for the ad agencies to suit everyone
DISLIKE
ING - MONKEY SUIT - SCARY
OAK - HUNGRY THIRSTY - SCARIER
COMMONWEALTH - BLACK AND WHITE ADS -looks try hard to me
ANZ - BARBARA - would confuse me into thinking she works at ANZ
COMFORT - those upset me - they don't look happy and I feel sorry for them, would be happer if they had 5 year olds
hate - the "husbands step" for the pantry
LIKE
KANGAROO ISLAND - "ambling beach"
KIA - I sing along with the song

The current Jacobs Creek add with the overly attractive ladies laughing and giggling and one them says "So i walk into the middle of the room and...."
then they pop a cork on a bottle of wine and all giggle, the whole ad is so cheesy makes me ill and i think the tag line is lets sparkle together or
something, ah geeeeeeeeeeeeez
I havent see that ahem pantry ad either, dont really want to really!!!  |

Just saw an Aquadeck (deck oil ad)
Wife walks past hubby oiling the deck, him talking it up to the camera, as she walks past she says "boys and their decks "
