Like Grandma made for me when I was a little girl,
Golden Syrup Dumplings smothered in scoops of vanilla icecream.
If I was good, I also got a cherry on top.

My favourites tend to depend somehat on the season

At Christmas, Cranachan - my grandmother's Hogmany recipe - also known as Crowdie Cream - cream cheese and cream mixed together and flavoured with a little whisky and some honey, layered with fresh raspberries and a sprinkling of toasted oatmeal......

Otherwise probably tirimasu

or the zabaglione icecream I used to make with egg yolk, marsala and sugar cooked together and then frozen......
