M&M's

I cant believe there's been mentions of some of my good old fashioned favourites.
Bread and Butter pudding, baked roly-poly and even Golden Syrup Dumplings, of course I love self-saucing puddings too. And pavlova, vanilla slice, not to forget Cream Puffs. yum yum yum . Or even a fresh baked scone with jam and cream. I even made brandy snaps this week, something I hadn't thought of in years. Wow that recipe from JustOne77 sounds gourmet. I could go on...That old Jubilee cake you used to get, Hasn't been around for years. Cinnamon tea cake. Anyone would think I loved sweets, but im not a sweet tooth.

Bread and butter pudding would have to be the one that comes to mind first. I loved it when Mum made it, its the only dessert we ever got besides the occassional ice-cream or nut loaf. (another favourite)

Ok, this is a tricky dessert to make but is OHHHHH so yummy!

I start by making a ganache... thickened cream, dark and milk choccy, tiny bit of butter. Refrigerate until firm.

Grab some good quality chocolate icecream.. and push it into a small bowl lined with glad wrap.. Make a hole in the centre and place a rounded ball of the ganache inside and cover with more ice cream. Pop in the freezer for a while and then cover with choc mint or plain choc ice magic.. Freeze again until rock hard.
Take out of freezer and using the edges of the glad wrap, lift the ice cream out of the bowl place on a cold board and pour more ice magic over the top so the whole 'dome' of ice cream is coated.. Before the ice magic sets.. Scatter chopped peanuts or hazelnuts over the top so they set in when the ice magic goes hard! Freeze until ready to enjoy!! :-D Yummo!
