Absolutely brilliant dannielle89 - that is amazing. Keep those winning WOLs coming. I am still trying and have been putting more effort in to them

Thank you so much everyone!
The only negative I have found is other peoples reaction.. they boo and hiss that they never win anything but when I say to enter more competitions
they can't be bothered? 
That is fine but don't pick on me! |

Yeah, that's why I stopped telling people as well! That and they start to expect you to just give them stuff because you won it As far as anyone not on lottos is concerned, I stop comping ages ago
Don't let them get you down though, they are just jealous! Well done on a very successful couple of months!  |

I've also stopped telling most people about wins.  Most non-compers have no idea
how many comps we enter and DON'T win. Most of us put a lot of time and effort into this, but non-compers don't seem to realise that. Which is why
sharing wins on this site is so much more fun! |

Congratulations 2 overseas holidays in 2 months thats fantastic ,
of all the years I have been entering and even though I have scored over $140,000 of prizes just this year most being cash I have never been able to
score an overseas holiday. Plenty of Australian ones but never the overseas one. |

I think it's a pretty common reaction. I don't talk about my hobby too much, but if I do mention it, and any wins I've had, I'm quick to add that I
enter many, many more competitions than I actually win |

Wow - can I have what you're having!!!
I'm working hard for an overseas trip but it's not happening for me. Got a local one worth $2000 but it doesn't have the same ring. I don't tell
anyone but my direct family that I enter competitions and I hate it when my husband tells someone. |

Yes don't tell anyone. Most people don't understand and will get jealous.
Compers understand.
I've thought over the years that comping is something that teaches you not to be jealous of other people and their possessions/adventures.
I used to know this woman who was insanely jealous of people whose kids had a lot of playstation/other console games - I never dared invite her to my
house LOL!! Compers don't think like that.

I also write the best 25 WOLS, but they must not get read!!! I laugh at mine, but they obviously aren't appreciated by the judges.
Well done at acheiving so much in such a short time.
I learnt a long time ago not to tell anyone about my wins except my immediate family, people find it hard to be happy for you, or think that you're
the sort that wants something for nothing, they dont understand the hours we put in. |
