A good whinge always helps, so here goes.
I haven't had a single win for a month now. Have put in lots of entries for lots of of comps, but just can't win a thing.
My last prize was tickets to Pinocchio on 24 May, exactly one month ago. And before that, a $100 vouch (yay!) on 9 May.
How's everyone else going? |

It's much tougher to win now than it was 20 or even 10 years ago. Many prizes are not that much. I won a hamper this week. It had a teatowel and 2
small boxes of chicken cubes. Hardly a hamper! If by June 30 I get to half of what i expect to win for the year, I'm ok. So far so good.

My whinge is the flippin Tim Tam competitions, all I seem to be doing is eating stacks of the packs at night piling on the weight and never ever win
on them, and yet I cannot stop trying |

No one has had a whinge for a good while so I will have a go.
Too many Instagram competitions. I’d prefer comps that require a little more effort to enter so only us compers enter them. Lol. |

My whinge is that wins have been few this year, so finding my name on a winner's list was nice... until they told me it had accidentally been put

What an awful mistake they made. That must have been so disappointing.
I have really good feelings about 2025. So a nice big win is on its way to us both. |

Helgas was the worst in deflating many of us….im still peeved and don’t want to buy the bread eventhough i like the light rye.
Won cards with $10 on from IGA liquor and one of 2 cards wouldn’t work and I was informed after calling I shouldn’t have been sent that one  ….tell all those people waiting behind me in the store

Yes the Helgas one was a debacle. You should still buy the variety that you liked regardless as it won't affect their bottom line. It will only
punish you so buy it and enjoy it...eventually.

I hear you on that IGA liquor one
I did not have any luck, but my housemate won one
When he went in store to use it, it didn't work, they checked the balance at home
Supposed $10 gift card had $0 on it (and no transactions)
They just simply did not load any money on it, sent it anyway and when my housemate sent them a message to let them know, they got no response
So makes you wonder how many got sent out empty cards  |

My whinge is hardly any wins this year. Just over $1000 - I would have spent at least $500. The two years previous were over $15k. |

Pet peeve here too, a big thumbs down to the huge multi-national companies all the way down to the small startups who are not fulfilling their legal
obligation, ignoring their own t&cs and never announcing winner name/s, especially for purchase comps or time-consuming entries. |
