has anyone actually won a FACEBOOK comp yet? |

I won a $500 spa voucher about 6 months ago on facebook which was a decent prize. I've also won some movie tickets. And got a few freebies like lip
glosses.
I like the ones that are easy and private entry - ie a form to fill out or 'like' the page. But I don't do the voting ones, sharing ones, or the ones
you have to write your answers on their wall (unless it's an amazing prize) ... I don't want all of my 'non-comping' friends being bombarded with it
all. |

I'm with sierrasun, I generally won't enter if my entry is publically displayed or I have to harrass my friends.
I won heaps of stuff off fb last year, including a $1000 gift voucher even though I only have 7 friends, my profile pic was of my daughter, my husband
and I. But this year I recognised my son and daughter as family, changed my profile pic to a collage of family photos and have never won since. I
think I outed myself as a middle aged mum and lost any chance the promoters would pick my entry.
I have now "demothered" (daughters words) my kids and am going to change my profile pic again to see if I have any luck!
I do think a lot of promoters choose winners based on "who" the person is over and above what they write. Guess I can't blame them ...but fb doesnt
make for a very level playing field!

I've won a couple but receiving the prize in the mail was the only way I knew I'd won. I think you need a lot of time on your hands if you want to be
serious about winning facebook comps. |

A $9000 overseas family holiday  I used to think it wasnt possible with FB or
the same people did all the winning but now I've changed my attitiude LOL  Good

The past week my face book page is loaded with lotto's compers having lots and lots of wins - did all the promoters hold back and let all the prizes
go at once? Why am I not part of this winning? eeerr you have to be in it to win it and I find the facebook comps a bit daunting and also go for the
easy options. |

Just got back from a holiday up at Kingfisher Bay Resort thanks to FB. Won loads of lovely prizes from FB--- I don't enter many comps on FB, just the
things I would really love. |

yes i win a lot of fb comps,you have to make sure you maintain and check back to see if your a winner otherwise if you dont make contact you could
lose the win and also fb tends to hide posts etc just be careful |

So do you keep a list of what you entered then go back and check on the facebook page when the comp ends?  |

i won the Napisan FB comp $995 Westfield voucher. i received information in my email/hotmail. i never thought i would need to check back and see if I
won on comps i entered on FB and make contact!
my IT friend made my FB page much more secure recently and i have won nothing since!
mind you i tend to spend time marking comps to comp back to but with 4 little kids, don't manage to come back!
time for positive thoughts and entering. |

New member here, but been comping independantly for a while... I picked up the Morphy Richards pack a couple of months ago value $250 from facebook
but thats about it I think from there. I tend to ignore the vote & share ones as well, just junk & spam mostly comes from that line. |

I joined facebook in Jan this year purely for comps. Was missing out on a lot of comps without it. Had instant success. Have won Woolies and Coles
vouchers, $300 Glamping prize, Qantas Holiday voucher etc etc. Never enter the vote ones or where you have to share with friends or tag. Wouldn't know
how to do it anyway! |

Once you have liked a number of pages, you will start seeing competitions coming up on your News Feed. Also start making Competition Facebook
friends. I was very very reluctant to make friends on Facebook when I first started out - but I found that it is a very good way to find out about
competitions. Everytime you enter one, share it, and then all of your "friends" see it on their News Feeds. I try to list as many Facebook comps as
I can on lottos, but many are last min, or have no closing date, or virtually no details, so you can't list them. There are literally hundreds of
comps out there - the more friends you have - the more you will find out about. |

I won a nail polish kit worth $70
Only enter the ones with link from lottos because I can't keep track of what I entered, especially the once only comps! |
