Well I thought I was going to be a quantum physicist. Turns out I'm struggling to finish my computing degree today [last exam tomorrow].. so I
might have to change to something else  .. tho maybe I'll program quantum
computers in my distant future  |

I am a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil - I am always on the lookout for any cirque comps but I have only ever found one about 3 years ago  They come to Oz so rarely which is really disappointing cause they are fabulous!
My dream is to go and see their show called >>O<< in Las Vegas.
I mustn't get distracted. Hmm, distracted, that's a funny word. I wonder if someone can get tracted?

But Gorgeoussmartfunnymodestmotherduck was already taken! Go figure!
So I just got Motherduck, plain and simple. And honestly 'plain and simple' describes me better! |

Mine is just my Christian Name & Year of Birth. BORING!!!! I really like my Christian & Middle names - claireisabel & my first email
account back in March 1995 was that, so I always use it for most user names as it is easy to remember, so I am unsure why I created this name instead!
I wish there was a way to change it!!!
This is a great post, as I have often wondered what is behind some of the more unusual user names.

I can watch the kookaburras, bushturkeys and butcherbirds from the computer. I tend to use a varient of these for user names. |

I didn't contibute to this thread before because the same one was on the old forum, I thought that it was just a carryon until I read
it
and so now, I will tell u how my username came about.
It is rather boring as well, because it is just a derivitave of my first two names Cherae........Cheryl Rae.......although on many sites I add an L
making the nick Cherael.....just an addition of an Angelic nature.
I found it very interesting reading everyones' reasons for their nicknames and I am sure that there are many more to hear.
Prior to using Cherae, I was bluewren because of my love for the little bluewren bird.
I look forward to seeing more of our members adding to this list

Peaceangel came from a favourite brand of clothing I liked.It was sold in a store full of lanterns and candles and all spiritual type things!The
clothes are flowing and loose and have mirrors and beads on them.A bit seventies style I suppose. |

As a child we were always moving ( dad in the RAAF) & when my kids were young it was my dream to travel our beautiful country by a good old

Mine was borrowed from a friend I dog-sit for.
The dogs were Basil and Jasper (both dogs are now deceased).

Wildfire is a name that I have used for years . Way back to my cb days yes i hang my head in shame lol I was a cb nerd lmfao
It was originaly gotten from the song wildfire about the horse.
