Where does your Username come from?

My name was the first thought that came to mind. I just felt a 'little different' that day. As for the 'miss' part, I thought I would confuse everyone, because actually I am a "Mrs" or "Ms." (Career woman syndrome).

Good question to ask though, because it is definitely interesting to know.

my puppies are maltese' and at the time of using this nick (about 5 years ago now) they were really tiny and small...so they are my "smalteezers"...hence smaltee!

Tarcoma was the name of the avenue I grew up in (in Adelaide over 10 years ago - in my much younger days). I now live in NSW but I have real fond memories of it (plus I won a lot of competitions there!)

I loved the movie Pulp Fiction, and am a big fan of the soundtrack, with the sound bites from the movie.

'I love you Pumpkin.'
'I love you Honey Bunny'

is from the start of the movie.

My boyfriend has called me Hunniebunnie for years and it was also the first email address I registered.

And quelle surprise, I was born in 79!

I use chasp as it's what my husband called our son as a baby, as in 'a cheeky chap', but he changed it around very slightly. He's now 3 and my mum still calls him Chasp! The 27 was added on when I joined lottos, maybe because the name was too short?:)

My favourite book when I was a teenager was a fantasy novel and the heroine's name was Kaela. In my mind I pronouced it Ka-ela then years later I realised it should have been Kae-la, but I preffered my pronunciation as it was very different.
When I started using the internet I adopted it as my nickname and I've now used it for nearly nine years so I guess it's stuck. (I'm in negotiations to drop the 20 ;) )
Usually it is written as Ka'ela and people call me Ka' but some boards and logins don't like apostrophes.

It's fun to read this old thread, but sad to see some old familiar names that don't post much anymore.
My user name is made up of my husband's first initial, my first initial, my daughter's first initial, and my son's first initial, followed by the first letter of our last name. Probably should have just called myself Penguin or something like that, but this is nice and short.:)

Phinalphling ( final fling )

I use it in other Forums and now I am called phinnie. I quite like the name and prefer it to my designated name.

OH and when I am at work my nic is:

Phinnieatshop
