newbie with a couple of questions

Hi I'm a newbie still navigating my way around the website. But just wondering what is the average amount of competitions members are entering daily or weekly? also do we have a better chance of winning if we enter certain comps? i:e radio comps, coupons, barcodes etc. thank you

Hello and welcome chanza29 :spin:

The number is different for different people. I'm currently entered into 68 comps with 20 to be followed up... there would be many people with double and triple that number, pretty sure they would be winning more prizes than I am too!

I suggest entering for prizes that you want, rather than worrying too much about how many you are entering... what I win, I wanted. Use the Control Panel to organise your comping.

You have a better chance of winning if 1. You enter a lot 2. You enter comps that require more effort (including waiting by the phone for radio comps) 3. You are very good at WOL 4. You are highly creative and enter creative competitions (ie. make something).

Good luck, be persistent and the prizes will trickle in (and you might even get a big one).

Welcome, chanza. I see comping as fun and a hobby, and if I win, it's a bonus. I try to keep my average around 100 comps. I enter mainly web comps, and usually win a small prize e.g. DVD, book each month. Have won an outdoor setting, plus other bigger prizes.
Have fun:)
