Thanks everyone, was really disappointed it didn't win because so much time & effort went into it but thats the way the game goes I guess. The
kids love him, who knows maybe he will win me a comp down the line. He's all cardboard except his hard hat |

Just a query, say the won you one Fisy for the recent ABC trip to Wales , It said complete entry form in store or do online in 25wol
According to the winning page your wonderful entry was sent to ABC Headquarters? How do you find out addresses and know where to send them.
Just curious for all other members who might like to go above and beyond to sending in their entries??

I make my rule to always ring the promoter to see if the option is available to send it to head office.....as my entries are quite large and they
might not send it to fro VIC to NSW if I leave it at the store....in this case the promoter had a VIC PO Box and assured me the entry would be sent to
NSW and also stated they had a lot of creative entries sent in.....I always talk to the promoters. xx |

Always feel if promoters did want mail ins , should state clearly on form, cos the average person would never even consider the thought of
contacting promoter.
It obviously has worked to your advantage numerous times, plus you are very creative indeed!

previous years about $25000

I do agree, Dolphin. It is very depressing to work hard on your answer for an online only entry and then see the winner has done a wonderful creative
entry. (this is a criticism of promoters generally, not of this particular comp, and not of you, Fisy, you clearly deserve your wins). However if the
promoter is prepared to accept creative mail-ins they should say so in the terms so that everyone is on a level footing. This is what is annoying me
about comping at the moment...the T&C seem to be just a general suggestion that promoters can bend and stretch as they like.
Very naively I used to think if the T&C said "online only" entry it meant just that. I am impressed by those clever compers who have discovered
it doesn't! |

Just my opinion of course, but if the entry terms state that entries are to be done via 25 WOL online or in store then mail in entries should not be
accepted. I hate it when promoters don't abide by their own T and C's especially after I have done the right thing and entered using the correct
methods. |
