Premier "Words and Windows"
Tonight we went to the Australian Premier of "Words & Pictures" and a Q&A with the director, Fred Schepsi, at the end. The film is fantastic
ad we were enthralled from start to finish. Comedy, drama and art combination. Listening to Fred was an amazing added bonus. The discussion about
production, choice of music and actors added to our understanding of the film. The lead female, Juliette Binochet, is also an artist and all the
paintings in the film were done by her.
There were some famous celebrities in the audience, including one of my favorites, Geoffrey Rush. He and Shepsi are making a film next year, it will
also star Anne Hathaway and Barbara Streisland
Without my comping hobby I would never have got to a film premier, this is a small win compared to some, but the experience was great |
