'Nother Newbie!
Hi there fellow compers!
I have been an on and off comper for the past few years with some success. I do a lot of contract work as a CGI character animator so I have periods
of unemployment which are perfect for hardcore comping! Recently I have moved to Melbourne (originally from Cairns, Queensland) for full time work for
a few months so I will be limited to nights and weekends, but I'll be trying my hardest to get a few wins! A couple of months ago I got back from a
brilliant holiday in Thailand (worth around $17,000) that I won. This would be my biggest win to date and what a thrill it was! I never expected to be
riding an elephant through the jungle this year, but that's what comping can do. I love the unpredictable nature of it all.
I look forward to chatting to other compers and hopefully making some new friends!
