How can I add my lottos referral URL using Outlook Express as a 'hyperlink' in my email signature?
I've tried to explain this the easiest way, I hope it can be followed
Open Outlook Express.
Click on compose or, if reading a message you want to reply to, click on reply.
Type your signature (eg. Lottos The Winning Formula – Join Now! ) and then highlight the part you want to be 'clickable'
I selected all text.
While you have a selection highlighted, you should see a little icon in your formatting toolbar that looks like a paperclip
over a globe.
* Refer to image above *
If you don't have your reader set to display your formatting toolbar, you can click on 'insert' on the mail tool bar and select
hyperlink from the drop-down menu.
* Refer to image below *
Click on the hyperlink tool and a drop-down menu will appear.
* Refer to image below *
Select what type of hyperlink you want, this will be Web address = http:// and then type or paste in where you want to
send your reader this being your referral link
www.lottos.com.au/forum/member.php?action=reg&refer=user... here
That's it! It's that easy it should look like this if you select all text. Lottos The Winning Formula – Join Now!
If you only selected part of the text you'll notice this now underlined.
That's because it's now a hyperlink!
The link won't work until the message has been sent.
To test it first yourself, send it to either yourself or your drafts folder.
Tip : Save it to your draft folder and use as a template
Please if you still are having problems let us know |

You can also make it easier by going
TOOLS>OPTIONS>SIGNATURES
click on NEW
Type in the required Text
Check the box next to Add Signature to all Outgoing messages..
Uncheck the box next to Don't add signatures to replies & forwards..
this will add it to all outgoing messages
thanks for the help moody!

ok thanks for this I have followed this and have created what I want and have also tried a test which worked.
But I cannot get the hyperlink to stay as a hyperlink once I add it to my signature.
although I can get my referal link to stay as a hyperlink?
I have created a new mail, created the hyperlink (which worked when the test was sent) but when I try to make that my default sig, it is no longer a
hyperlink when you open a new mail.
Do I have to create a new hyperlink for every new mail?
or is there a way for me to keep the created hyperlink as my default sig so every time I create a new mail it uses the text I want to say (ie
Australias best competition site - join lottos now) but actually uses my referal link?
I am not sure if I have explained clearly enough lol

where you see logged in as "your username"
click to open and scroll down your profile to
"Members referred by this user"
there will be a list of usernames that were referred by you |
