Hi guys have to arrange our Chinese Visa,s. Anyone done one and are thet that difficult |

No not difficult, a little slow though as must go through their embassy, unless you pay extra for the fast version. You can get a single entry or a
multiple entry and they want lots of info about you. |

Yes trying to sort out if we are single entry. Flying to Shanghai 7 day tour then cruise through Japan for 6 nights then fly out of Shanghai again |

If you ring the Chinese Embassy (in Australia) they will tell you what you need and the best way for you to do it. |

I recently had to get a VISA for a trip to Vietnam and I organized through Flight Centre it did cost a little more I am told but saved the hassle of
travelling to Melbourne. My actual trip was not planned with Flight Centre and they were very happy to assist and help.

a chinese lady told me that if you were staying less than 10 days you don't need a visa? don't know if that's true or not but

I went to China last year for 5 days and needed a visa.
It's good to get your visa done early because you need to have a photo taken (very specific dimensions, no smiling etc), send it off to the embassy
and wait to receive it back. Go through the travel agent if you're unsure, but it's not as difficult as it seems. |

Not a single entry if you are flying in to Shanghai then leaving then coming back to depart. Multiple entry indeed.

Get sorted well before-hand as the process can take longer than visas for other countries. Proof of all accommodation needed too.
