Hmmm, not as exciting as I first thought. Even if you won the largest prize three times, that's only $300 towards a holiday.
And no second chance draw. |

1 million dollars to use, and they choose this method? Bizarre. How many REAL, fully paid for holidays could they offer for that, along with decent
consolation prizes. Agree, probably not all will be won, but, not all will be used/redeemed either. Shame. I like a JC wine, and would have stocked up
big time with Christmas around the corner. Oh well, onwards and upwards to better prize purchases.

I agree Snazzie, such a wasted opportunity.
They normally have amazing prizes with their promotions - I can’t see their sales skyrocketing on this one sadly. |

Even if it was $100 eftpos card it would be a bit better - but a $100 travel voucher would barely get you half a seat on a plane to nowheresville -
they really haven't thought this one out.
I'll be passing - there are plenty of other better alcohol comps with lots better prizes. |

So the gift cards are Prezzee Swap cards. According to their website:
With a Prezzee Swap Card, it can be exchanged for a leading Australian retailer Gift Cards such as: Myer, Dymocks, David Jones, HOYTS Cinemas, JB
HI-FI, Coles, Woolworths and many more...
So, doesn't have to be used on travel.
Thanks for the post. |

What a dud competition. $20, $50 or even $100 is not going to buy you much travel.
Why doesn't it surprise me that the promoter for this comp is Pernod Ricard.
As the saying goes, they couldn't organise a pi$$-up in brewery. |

$20, $50 or $100 is handy to put towards Australian accommodation or events. I find this sort of prize handy, especially if you can bank up a few (is
the 13 or 31 and why such a random number??) |

Guess this could be described as bait-comping with the 'prize' only covering a miniscule amount of the cost of a huge spend to redeem. Marketing
idiocy in spades.... |

would skyrocket! |

Agree. Initially I thought it was any retailer but now see it has to be "travel specific"...
Even $100 off a travel agen like Flight Centre isn't going to get you very far...half the time it's cheaper to book your own travel than going thru
them!!
Thanks for the comp though. |
