Back after 10 years & trying to set myself up again....
Hi again Lottos Members,
I was an avid comper about 10 years ago & then some "Life events" took me away.
I have often thought about rejoining & finally got around to doing it today!
Just trying to wrap my head around everything again. It's a bit of a learning curve 
So I am starting out again slowly, until I find my "groove" again & don't get overwhelmed & quit.
So far I have....
***Set up a separate email address for comping, so main account isn't spammed.
***Set up a folder with the useful Lottos pages for quick reference to different sections.
I will read some more on here looking for other useful gems of wisdom, to guide me on my way.
I have set up a new Facebook account with my new email address, so I don't spam my friends with comping stuff (which can annoy some people)
I am looking forward to getting back into the World of Comping!

Welcome back! You will notice heaps more social media comps, and now to search for a car, trip etc, instead of 'carcar or 'triptrip' just use a
hashtag and the word: #car etc..
Wishing you luck for your new beginning. Have a play in the lucky dust. We haven't used it all up, plenty to go around

I don't keep a diary with receipts in any more. Almost all comps want you to upload a copy now, so I just bought a little expending folder from
Officeworks that has 12 sections and I pop the receipts in there. SO far I have not been asked for one.

Easier to simply avoid FB comps. They are out of control from 10 years ago. 1000 people entering for a $10 item, or Companies only giving prize when
they reach 100,000 likes etc. Personal choice of course. I am currently entered in 119 Comps. I am 'not interested' in over 1000 comps - 90% of those
are FB or social media type. They are the majority these days. Companies getting lazy or going the easy way. I can only image what my FB would look
like if I entered in the 900 odd social media comps I have red crossed 
Particularly since some don't contact you by message. Onus is on you to go back and check their page - of which winners are not always announced on
time. Nightmare. |

I also couldn't agree more. Totally delete any Facebook Comps.

I'm another saying no to facebook comps!
I'm also just getting back into comping after having a baby 7 months ago. Good luck! I wonder if many are even running due to covid 19.. |
