One winner will receive a $1000 JB Hi-Fi voucher, $300 Officeworks Voucher, $200 UberEats voucher, total prize value $1500.

Winner:


The most creative as judged by a panel of judges in its sole discretion on 10/06/2020. Winner will be notified by 11/06/2020. Promoter’s decision is final & no correspondence will be entered into.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 16 years or over that are not currently studying at Macquarie University. No extension or variation of the Promotional Period will be permitted. All components of the Prize must be taken together. Any element of the Prize not taken will be forfeited and not substituted.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoterand agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences on 24/04/2020 9am AEDST and final entries close at 11:59pm AEDST on 05/06/2020 (“Promotional Period”).
To enter, individuals must visit https://www.mq.edu.au/study/macquarantine follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details including (including their full name, and a valid email address), answering the questionin 25 words or less ‘What’s your most inventive social isolation study hack?’, and submit the fully completed entry form. Each entrant is responsible for notifying the Promoters of any changes to his/her phone number and/or e-mail address during and after the Promotional Period.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) entry permitted per person.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of thepromotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged by a representative of the Macquarie Marketing team, based on the originality, literary merit and creative merit of the answer provided to the promotional question. The judges may select additional reserve entries, which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order of merit, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant. The judging will take place on 10/06/2020.
The winner will be notified via email by 11/06/2020. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the Prize can be collected.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win a $1000 JB Hi-Fi voucher, $300 Officeworks Voucher, $200 UberEats voucher, total prize value AU$1,500 inc. GST. Prize includes:
$1000.00 JB Hi-Fi Voucher
$300 Officeworks Voucher
$200 UberEats Voucher
The winner must confirm his/her eligibility to be awarded the Prize within one (1) week of being successfully notified by the Promoter, otherwise that winner’s entry will be deemed invalid, and a new winner will be contacted.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promotor reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
If the Prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
Total prize pool value is up to AU$1,500 inc. GST. Any expense, including taxes, spare parts, maintenance or delivery costs, associated with accepting, taking or using a Prize, will be the winner’s sole responsibility.
The prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Acceptance of the Prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of the providers and, in particular, health, behaviour, age and safety requirements. Any part of the Prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking/use of and/or participation in the prize.
The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and the Prize Provider. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.vice.com/en_us/page/privacy-and-terms. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia.

Prize Provider

All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Prize Provider upon receipt by the Promoter or its agent.
The winner consents to the Prize Provider using their name and entry in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for promotional purposes, public statements and advertisements in relation to this competition (including any outcome) and for promoting any courses, services, products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Prize Provider. The winner(s) agree to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to this promotion as requested by the Prize Provider and its agents.

I think you actually need to be a student. On entry form it asks you to confirm you are a domestic student. It also asks what level you are interested in.
