Some people will do anything to win a prize. I've seen a couple entering in their dog's name. One is a member here and will know who they are if
they're reading this. |

Thanks. I understand now.

I will be contacting the promoters regarding this.
This mother continues to enter her children in comps where terms say 18+ and that is so wrong.
Annoyingly for those of us who enter competitions correctly, this mother is a member here. |

same surname, same postcode. One of two different first initials for the kids.
When I contacted the Eclipse promoters I was told they had forfeited their prize due to not being eligible to enter/win--but not sure how they knew
who I was talking about as I never gave them details.
It's not fair on those of us who enter correctly. I'm sure it happens more often than we know. |

I'm honestly sick to death of it.
We, as a community here, are big on reading the t & c's of comps, so these people entering know the age limits etc.
It's just pure greed and I am going to contact promoters every time I am aware its happening. I also contacted Craig Eagle Entertainment after they
awarded a DVD prize to an under 18 (against the t & c's). The mother in question there was a serial comper but I am not sure if she's a member
here. |

On another note, I copied the winners list into a spreadsheet and there are only 569 names. That's 31 prizes short.
There might still be hope for those of us who haven't won a prize. |

There might be ONE more on offer if the promoters do the right thing with my complaint! |

I received a winning email, which has been confirmed but my name not on the list. A bit strange I thought. It would however account for 1 more. |

I guess they still had to purchase and enter to win. Maybe they wished to be anonymous. No win for me but quite a few won 2 or 3 prizes. Good on them.
Prize wins 2014: $37680
Prize wins 2011: $13000
previous years about $25000
The harder you work the luckier you get

Sorry for the confusion. I didn't mean they entered their dogs for this comp. It wouldn't be as easy to tell when they only give the first initial. It
was a general comment about some people doing anything to win and that I know of people who've entered their dogs to win a comp. |

I won more than 1, but my name is only on there once. Double ups may account for the 31 less.
Prize totals:
2017: $37,521
2018: $9,375
2019: $23,955
2020: $22,765
2021 $32,484
2022: $41,760
2023: $58,522

At the top of the winners list it has the email address to contact if you see yourself on the list and have not been contacted.
Just found hubby's name on the list too. But have not been contacted.
Who is the email listed from when they contact winners? |

Thank You, I did email them, and got a lovely email back saying they did have a bit of a problem sending the original winner emails, but they do have
a Slow Cooker reserved for me.
I suggest everyone who entered and didn't get an email check the list to see if their name is on it |
