Advent Competitions - how did you go? How many did you win?
I've been entering madly all month, and now that it's almost over I'm curious, is the craziness of entering Advents all worth it?
How did everyone go?
I won 2 - a $50 Rebel Sports Gift card and a basket of goodies from Pharmacy4Less (I'll have to wait until it shows up to find out what's in it and
how much it was worth).
So are advents worth it, especially when Dec is so busy with everything else going on? I must admit, I missed a couple of days, but I had fun entering
(even though it was overwhelming at times)

I did OK considering the amount of grief I had with Facebook and Instagram. I am not sure on the amount won as yet as some prizes didn't come with a
value and another one I think was a comp won without a prize as it just seems a bit dodgy but time will tell. It would of been lots more fun if it
didn't also come with the frustration of entering problems. |

In years passed, I always did quite well with the Advent comps but this year not as much.
This year has been a nightmare with people reporting facebook comments as spam and then competition entries not being visible. Then Instagram
repeatedly blocking so many comments and of course all the Scam accounts sending out fake friend requests and following on Instagram and messaging
that you have won but you need to send your credit card details!
I was lucky enough to have four small wins but considering I estimate that I have entered approximately 2000- 2500 comps and spent up to 5 hours a day
entering, it was a small return. This was the first year that I haven't enjoyed the Advent comps and next year I will be rethinking what I enter

Didnt win anything in the Advent comps but got myself blocked from Instagram and Facebook for contravening their community standards by entering these
Christmas comps. |

I won 3 on instagram, a candle/soaps, grazing voucher/cakes and $198 top and backpack. My daughter won a straightner. I didn't do much on facebook,
just a handful. Happy with that considering I was blocked on insta for 5 days then another 2 |

I found it really boring this year to enter, so I skipped some days. So many are just tag tag tag, which I don't enjoy. I prefer WOL's or a single
daily entry. That being said, I'm very happy to have won a gift voucher, meaning I got to buy myself a Christmas present |
