Digital Money
I have talked about this digital money before on lottos but as I have had a few smaller wins with this new digital money recently I feel so frustrated
with this option some promoters are heading towards.
The difficulties I have had redeeming this cyber money is outrageous with what have they called it "terms of service" if it isn't activated by a
certain time frame it then gets very difficult to trace or then simply lost.
As every comper would know the possibility of missing or overlooking an email or sms can be very real so time frames on activation seems unfair and
where does the missing money go.
The other thing for me is how many apps, activation codes, pins, and passwords is a human going to need to simply get you money out of all these
mobile wallets wowsers let alone remember it all.

My mobile is too ancient for this digital money stuff and I absolutely don't care. I believe most people won't know they have won, therefore less
prizes given out, just another legitimate scam. |

My phone don't do vault payment , I do have a smart phone only a Nokia 2.3 ,so my daughter can do mobile pay not vault. But I have to request a
plastic card off vault it's frustrating. |

I am extremely p***ed off as two different friends who won in the Chemist Warehouse footy comp (One won $275 worth of gift cards, the other $225) have
had so much trouble getting the actual cards from Mobile Pay as neither of their phones accepted digital cards.
They initially contacted Mobile Pay towards the end of Sept last year and both are still waiting.
One of the friends will be ringing them again tomorrow, they are so frustrated and don't know who else to contact?

Yes this particular one was difficult plus the Helga's promotion. I feel your pain with this dodgy digital money. I have also had quite a few shop
staff not understanding the whole system and refuse . So there are so many speed bumps before one can even use the rotten money. |

I think it's great, gets sent instantly ,
no waiting for post or lost in post,
I agree you do need an upto date phone
though..
Also prezzee vouchers are good
All saved on phone via an app
NO carrying lots of different store cards around |

Great for people that have the phone and also the smarts to handle digital money, I don't and I don't.
I'm also really p.....off with the Lindt comp, prizes were to come via email, and 2 did which I printed off and easily redeemed, then 3 came via SMS,
what a mess. I will NEVER again enter any comp with digital money prize.
After 25 years of successful comping digital money has me beat. |

A while back I won $1000 digital gift card and requested a plastic card as my phone didn’t support contactless payments. I was told it was sent but I
hadn’t got it. After a lot of messing around I finally received it.
Since then I have realised if I get sent a card, I can put it in the digital wallet. Then because I can’t use it in store, I just use the credit card
number to use online to redeem gift vouchers. |

LOATHE these cards! I went to use one today and it had disappeared from my Wallet or Vault. It was there a week ago and now it's gone. I have
absolutely no way of contacting the prize supplier as I can't even remember who it was and wouldn't bother contacting the digital card provider as
I've had nothing but bad experiences with them in the past. Another $100 down the drain! Give me plastic cards any day! |
