FLYBUYS legit or scam

This evening I received FLYBUYS email advising me that due to a technical problem I may have been allocated extra points, which they will then take back.
I'm hesitant about logging into my flybuys a/c in case this is a scam and someone is trying to steal my points.
Did anyone else receive this email and do you think it's legit.

Received exact same message - now Im curious as my account does not show any points deducted (so far).

Doesn’t look like a scam. I received this email and it looks like they deducted 16 points from the 16th of April, no big deal.

Thank you all for your responses, not so stressed now, still don't understand why a huge company like FLYBUYS would even bother to withdraw the few extra points we may have received.

Just checked and they deducted 720 points from me

I've lost 200 points from yesterday to today. I'm expecting bonus points from a my shop yesterday so will check again tomorrow.

They removed over 400 points from me yesterday, and a couple of hours later they sent an email saying the had originally been credited in error


That is utter nonsense, the offers they mentioned came nowhere near the 400 they took (would have been lucky to be 150, at a push)

PLUS they have not credited any points to my account at all since the 9th May(I've had to go to Coles every day and scan my card every time)

SO many complaints on Facebook from other people and they are either ignored or given a copy and paste excuse

Thanks for your comment Sands, I initially thought that a scammer had got into my account, it really stressed me. Utter nonsense I agree I've also had more taken back than I earnt through that promotion.

Just received an email to tell me "as a gesture of goodwill" the points will be given back again.

Someone made a very big mistake in taking them away in the first place. I guess their replacement is orchestrating the restoration of the points.

Yes also received "gesture of goodwill" email.
I would like to very much thank my fellow compers for their quick and helpful advice whenever any one of us has a worrying issue.
