I contacted them after doing a search for a local Ampol in my area. Local Caltex/Woolies came up. It said it is 'currently transitioning to Ampol'.
Sent off an enquiry to ask if this would be deemed a qualifying store (given the only change they do is basically change the signage).
The Response:
In the case of your nearby petrol service station in Xxxxx, we must
advise that it would not be seen as a participating Ampol retailer.
Only retailers that are trading as Ampol (and is reflected on the
receipt) are participating for this promotion.
We hope that this assists to advise.

Nearest one is 30kms away, so a 60k round trip to participate, sadly counts me out.
