Ah . . . Hamilton Island is quite small. You can hire a buggy and go crazy driving everywhere. Most things are within walking distance.

Iíve just been and Best advice is to download the Hamilton island app and book all restaurants before you go. Due to covid they have staff shortages and canít operate restaurants at full capacity.

Also a bus that goes around the island recommend doing the whole trip so you get a perspective of the island, they have go karts golf all water sports etc, thereís an IGA but can take your own stuff, plenty of eateries around but I was there earlier in the year ( my backyard) and a lot of places did not open, also all buggyís where hired out so if you expect to get one better try book now they where booked out for the next three months when I was there. Enjoy weather is great at the moment, can do tours to Whitehaven and Daydream from there and can catch the ferry boat into Airlie Beach, not sure if you can get it cheaper as your staying on the island otherwise at 32 each way itís a bit expensive. Hamilton is where you go to relax and chill, nice walks about and a beautiful chapel to go and see , views everywhere.
