**Please clarify rules surrounding eligible States**

From time to time I have been reported on State's and their eligibility due to the store chain not being within a members State yet the t&c's permit all residents of Australian States to enter.

For example with Ritchie's and Drakes competition's they sometimes include every state of Australia as eligible to enter and sometimes only a chosen few States.

I always endeavor to post according to t&c's of each individual competition.

So my question is what is the correct way to post these types of comps as its confusing to me when I can clearly read ALL STATES.

Who's to say a member isn't visiting interstate and visits store/s that are not within their own state yet wishes to participate in a competition that's on offer.

See below for two examples of two current Ritchies competitions with differing terms yet still all residents eligible.

Thank you firstinline:)

You are correct. If the terms state open to all states or all residents of Australia, then it is not state specific. Please ignore reports that say otherwise.

It doesn't matter if the store is open to only one state or multiple states. As you pointed out, entrants may be on holiday, work, medical trips, whatever reason and then have access to the store.

Thanks for asking.

Thank you Andrew for the confirmation and I will continue to post just as the t&c's permit. :)
