Hi! I recognise everybody's names here but have only been a member since 2011 (12 years on and off).

I joined because my mum was an avid comper and really enjoyed being part of this fun community. Her username was hillbilly. I used to sit up with her over cups of tea making 25wol's , decorating envelopes and taking barcodes off products! It was so fun checking the mail to see what might arrive and such a thrill to do. We all kept an eye out for comps in the supermarket, saving those entry forms and having to get junk mail sent to us because we live rurally so miss the catalogue runs - we envied people who had letterboxes and got junk mail in a timely manner! :lol::lol:

Sadly mum passed away in 2007 so comping is my comfort - id love to tell her how much it has changed! I still love seeing your posts and the little bit of chit chat :)

I remember hillbilly well, yet another we have lost.
