WEM for me today, pity my store is so small and not a lot of choices, it is open a lot longer hours and of course dearer. Any tips from other winners
who have already done it please.
Congrats to all winners, this is my 1st time.

Have just confirmed I will be doing mine on the 17th October and we can have a list. Will be stalking the store to work out the best place to start.
I do volunteer work at my local Neighborhood Centre and our funding that was meant to last 6 months for grocery items has run out in 2 months so this
will be a big help in toiletries, long shelf life products and Omo. We provide hot showers for those living in cars or tents. Also have a washing
machine and dryer for them to have clean clothing.
It has been a real eye opener for me as to the amount of people struggling. To all compers out there please remember any foods you can't use are very
much apricated by these groups helping those in need.
Much needed items such as rice, pasta, tuna, sugar even cat and dog food. Towels, hand towels face clothes to be used in the showers. Plastic bin
liners of all sizes, glad wrap, paper towels. If unsure just give them a call and ask.

Our local store is tiny and expensive. They don’t stock some of the unilever brands. I won last time, and emptied the shelf of OMO, the struggled to
make up the rest of the spend with what I would consume. I said to the rep, geez, I should have purchased from [location] store, much bigger and have
all items. She said I could have requested to go there instead, (even though I didn’t purchase from there) as it was in her ‘patch’ and closer for
her. See if you can call back and ask if you do it at a larger store in the area. Will be worth the drive for you, and probably save the rep. A drive
too. Win win. Worth a try. |

I wonder if you could go in and ask them to order in 15 ( or whatever ) packets of Omo prior to the shop??? I'd hate to spend 40% of the allowance on
mayo haha

gypsy: Last year the rep was with me. I didn't have to hurry. He added up on his calculator as I popped items into my trolley. I chose OMO powder,
various types including the capsule type (my daughter loves) plus I think it was Comfort conditioner. Tresemme shampoo and conditioner, Sunsilk too
(would be good for the people you are helping).. There wasn't any hurry... Just took my time.. OMO was on half price so I ended up with double the
amount of product in my trolley for the price ... It was $300 last year so I walked out with $600 worth!

That is correct, is stated in the WEM. I don't have a bigger participating store anywhere even remotely close anyway.

Good on you Gypsy. Last year my partner won and we stocked up on the fragrance free low allergy OMO, as the regular Omo is so heavily perfumed and I'm
very allergic to it. I just have to walk past someone who's washed their clothes in it and I start sneezing. So maybe get the low allergy one if you
can, just a thought |

I did mine today in WA. The rep said to take my time as he put aside half a day for this. I said I had a spreadsheet and things to do. It took me 15
minutes. He followed me around with a calculator even though I already had it all itemised on my list. Then we took a photo with the manager for
social media and I left. Spent exactly $500 but he said I could pay the extra if it went over. |

can someone please send the email address they got the email from please i have the phone number and have tried to call but it never answers and they
dont ring back i need to find out when i will be doing my run i couldnt do it straight away as we were away at the time

I had the same rep as last year. Very pleasant experience. Rep and manager said I could take as much time as I needed. I did not have a spreadsheet or
list, because unfortunately the IGAs don't always stock great amounts of some products such as OMO and I had to be flexible last year. I checked the
catalogue for this week and no OMO specials mentioned - but in store some OMO products were actually on special and I walked away with more products.
All in all, including shopping, paying and photos, it too 30 min all up. |
