I found this competition at TAB MORLEY WA store.
Customers must place a bet on any Thoroughbred race in their local TAB throughout the promotional period.
They must then scan the QR code on either a poster, screen, tent card, A5 flyer or static terminal marketing screen and enter their ticket number
& details.
THE PRIZE
The Major Prize is for 2 people; 1 customer & a guest and includes:
Return flights to Melbourne from Perth.
6 nights accommodation in Melbourne.
Entry fee covered for Vic Derby day (Saturday 2nd November) and Melbourne Cup Day (Tuesday 5th November).
$1000 worth of vouchers ($250 TAB voucher and $750 cash to spend).
The 5 Secondary Prizes are for 5 customers plus 3 guests each (20 pax); to enjoy our TABtouch VIP event at Optus Stadium on Melbourne Cup Day.

Melbourne Cup Carnival Experience Retail Promotion Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions will be published on a TABtouch webpage.
1. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this document (‘Terms and Conditions’).
2. The promoter is Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) (ABN: 21 347 055 603) of 14 Hasler Road, Osborne Park WA.
3. The promotional period commences at 8.00AM (WST), Monday 2 September 2024 and ends at 23:59 Wednesday 16 October 2024.
4. Entry Criteria:
a. To be eligible to enter the Melbourne Cup Carnival Retail Promotion, customers must visit a TAB retail outlet in WA during the promotional period
and place a bet on any Thoroughbred race, scan a QR code from either; a screen, poster, tent card or flyer in store and enter their details and bet
ticket number.
b. One bet ticket is counted as one individual entry, customers can enter multiple times with multiple bet tickets.
c. RWWA is not liable and does not accept responsibility for: a participant’s entry that is not received or which is received and subsequently corrupt
or rejected; any lost, misdirected or corrupt SMS to or from RWWA.
5. RWWA is not responsible for: any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prizes, promotions, or relevant fixtures beyond RWWA’s
reasonable control; any technical failures or unavailability of the RWWA website or other related platforms. The Venue is not responsible for any
postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prizes, including the cancellation or unavailability of tickets to the Events at the Venue due to
reason beyond the Venue’s control.
6. Entry is open to residents of WA, 18 years or older only (Eligible Entrants). Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies and
suppliers and contractors to this promotion, including the Venue, are not eligible to enter. For the purpose of this promotion, immediate families is
defined as Mother, Father, sister, brother, spouse (including de facto), offspring, living in the same premises.
7. Excludes residents of VIC, QLD, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS and NT.
8. The Promotor is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
9. There is one (1) major prize to be won. There are five (5) secondary prizes to be won.
• The major prize includes return airfare for 2 pax – the winner plus one guest; Perth to Melbourne, 6 nights accommodation at the Crown Promenade,
Melbourne Leftbank, General admission entry to both Vic Derby Day (Saturday 2nd November) and Melbourne Cup Day (Tuesday 5th November) at Flemington
racecourse, plus $250 TAB vouchers/ TABtouch account credit and $750 spending money provided as either a rechargeable VISA card or an EFT to the
winners account.
• There are five (5) secondary prizes to be won. These prize packages are for 4 pax (the winner plus three guests) to attend a VIP Melbourne Cup event
at Optus Stadium.
10. One (1) winner will be the drawn at random at the completion of the promotional period for the one (1) major prize using a computer-generated
program from all valid entries received. Five (5) winners will be drawn at random at the completion of the promotional period for the five (5)
secondary prizes using a computer- generated program from all valid entries received.
11. The Promoter will collect your name and contact details in order to include you in this promotion. By entering this promotion the entrant agrees
to receive communications regarding this competition.12. The prize draw will take place on Thursday 17th October at Racing & Wagering WA, 14
Hasler Road, Osborne Park WA 6017.
13. The winner will be notified by 4.00pm (WST) on Thursday 17th October 2024. a. All prize winners will be notified by telephone and in writing.
14. The major prize winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all valid entries received. The five secondary prize winners will be the
following entries drawn at random from all valid entries received. Should the winners be uncontactable within a 24 hour period from prize draw or
unable to accept the prize, an additional random draw will take place.
15. The prize (or any part thereof) is not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services or redeemable for cash. It is a condition of
accepting a prize that the winners accept the conditions of that prize.
16. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, for any reason, or the winner is unable to use the prize (or part of the prize) the Promoter,
in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification,
subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The Venue will not be required to substitute the prize (or any part thereof).
17. Entries received after the closing time and date, will not be accepted. 18. Entrants must use their own mobile phone or device for QR code entry.
19. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that all information supplied is accurate. Entrants must ensure that all care is taken when
submitting entries into this promotion. It is the entrant’s responsibility to enter the correct details. The Promoter will not be liable for any
consequences of user error.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who supplies invalid
information that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
21. The Promoter is not responsible for any error, omission or failure to deliver agreed goods or services provided by suppliers or contractors.
22. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. The Promoter (subject to State and Territory Legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the
control of the Promoter corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter will
disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.
24. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. In particular, SMS entries
via the internet, computer generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted. Website entries using “scripting” for multiple entries will
not be accepted.
25. Entrants must ensure that all care is taken when submitting entries into this promotion. It is the entrant’s responsibility to enter the correct
details on the entry form. The Promoter will not be liable for any consequences of user error.
26. Employees and immediate families of the promoter and its agencies and suppliers and contractors to this promotion are not eligible to enter. For
the purpose of this promotion, immediate families is defined as Mother, Father, sister, brother, spouse (including de facto), offspring, living in the
same premises.
27. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter
without payment, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize. Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal
information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes
(including to third parties involved in the promotion and any applicable statutory authorities). Without limiting the foregoing, entrants' personal
information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement.
28. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a prize. Independent financial advice should be
sought.
29. The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the winner claiming the prize. Including but not limited to
travel expenses incurred when travelling to and from redemption of the prize. Additional food and beverage costs outside of those covered by the prize
money.
