I did start an Instagram account a while ago but am yet to work out if I am doing things correctly
I believe with sooo many social media platforms available now the chances of winning are most likely zero so its at big fat NO from me joining up with
any more. |

For safety reasons I have zero social media so am repeatedly disappointed when comps are on social media excluding me.
It is obvious the promoters of social media comps requiring Instagram and Tik Tok must be young ones who were raised on Instagram/Tik Tok as being
"normal".
Us dinosaurs from the pre internet age would never organise a social media comp
Young promoters also assume the entire world has a smart phone excluding people with disabilities and those in remote areas where internet is hit and
miss (I do not have a smart phone because I cannot manipulate a small screen due to my disabilities).
Young promoters on good wages assume everyone has a residential address. It is not fair to homeless people (who like me are on the run due to domestic
and family violence) to be excluded from competitions due to no fixed residential address. A Social Worker I housesat for allows me to use her
residential address but that becomes tricky when there is a comp for one entry per house-hold.....I have to check in to see if their family has
entered or will enter before I can enter.
I pay $156 per year to keep my mail safe in a Post Office Box so a postal address should be allowed, especially considering how extensive the Domestic
and family violence crisis is and how many people are in hiding/being stalked. My safety has been compromised numerous times by Government and Private
organisations directly notifying my perpetrators where I am.....privacy laws mean more often than not mean nothing to people who have never been in a
DV or FV situation (or know someone who is) because they do not take safety seriously. I have driven 150km to the nearest Electoral office to update
my address and to continue to be silent (invisible) on the Electoral role. I spoke directly with the Manager at the Electoral office to explain how
critical it was for the residential address to be never used for my postal vote forms....only the PO Box. Not once but TWICE that Electoral office
sent mail to the residential address in the following 2 weeks with the impending elections.....I found my postal vote papers on the nature strip
because they had fallen out of the Posties motorbike delivery box on the back. Also my mail going to a PO Box was tampered with because Australia Post
gave perpetrators my address and they managed to intercept mail. Young promoters never understand any of this.
Hopefully young promoters will read my pleas to be mindful of older folk, people with disabilities, homeless and DV/FV people when they are organising
comps so large groups of people are not excluded. |

Firstly, I am sorry for what you have had to endure and hope you are getting appropriate help to keep you safe.
I live rurally so get no postal delivery but my post office (I also pay for a PO box which is number 2129) provided me with a "Street address" by
simply putting "Suite 2129 then the street address of the post office. I honestly can't remember but I think I had to pay a little extra but I can use
it as a street address.
Perhaps talk to your Post Office about this?
Stay safe! |

I did set up a TikTok just in case I have to like something to enter a comp I'm interested in. Aside from the odd comp, I have zero interest in or
interaction with TikTok.
Personally I think that many social media comps are set up for them to 'select' the winner from their profiles rather than random draw. |

I’m too old for many of the PRIZES these days. I do not need them, or I do not want them, I don’t have family who needs them.
Not interested in baby stuff, most clothing aimed at the very young adults, concerts involving trendy bands (just don’t have the hearing for that
now), kids toys, YA books, most kids books, insurance, tools, home Reno’s or products
Love things that would be useful or luxuries to seniors now: books, holidays/ food.
Prize wins 2014: $37680
Prize wins 2011: $13000
previous years about $25000
The harder you work the luckier you get
