Yes, this had to be activated, but it had to be activated by 'them' , I cannot activate it from my end |

MY SON AND MY DAUGHTER BOTH WON A CARD AND SO DID I NONE OF THEM WORK HOW EMBARASSING FOR THE YOUNG ONES. I DIDNT CARE I JUST PAID CASH I DONT KNOW
WHO TO CALL TO GET THE THREE OF TEM ACTIVATED,
I THINK THIS IS SO BAD FOR ADVERTISING COMPAINES |

I emailed both KO and Sunrice
KO replied within minutes they will get in touch with someone or other
And then tried to tell me it was an accident they were sent without being activated

Not a problem
I said to the folks from KO that I doubted I was the only one who was 'accidently' sent a card that had not been activated |

Mine also says 'awaiting activation'
Haven't checked my husband's yet and told my son not to try and use his just yet.
Not impressed that's for sure! |

I was going to use mine on Friday. I just went to giftcards.com.au and put the number in and mine says waiting activation. |

I phoned the 1300 number on the back of the card
As I expected, they cannot activate them either, only the person/company who 'bought' them can
And (I told her what is was from etc etc) that being a bulk order, they would have been issued with instructions they had to be activated, by them,
prior to sending them to people |

Oh no, and people won multiple too. I bought a few extra packs of rice in our family and I feel like I wasted my money now  |

Her confirming they would have been sent 'instructions' that the cards had to be activated by them before sending them to people certainly proves the
story about it being an 'accident' they did not active them is pure caca |

Still waiting for my card - email said it was supposed to be delivered yesterday - but the tracker hasn't updated since it was collected in NSW on the
11th. |

I’ve just got home and checked my cards and surprisingly, they are listed as ACTIVE - maybe they’ve rectified the problem in the last couple of hours.
Hoping everyone’s have been activated now. 🤞 |

I got mine yesterday I didn’t get an email or anything g to say it was on its way.
I only got the email to say I’d won.
I just checked mine says it’s active so hopefully they’ve fixed them up.

No idea why it had a sticker on it saying '500gr parcel' or why a courier company had to go pick it up from this Direct2Consumer mob
Or why it would take so stupidly long after the competition finished, and then not even be activated |
