not really any secret but i'll share..

so far its been 9 weeks.....

i am taking medication from the doctor...helps speed everything up and it surpresses my appetite..i have polystsic ovaries and kidney stones so have had to do this for my health as am supposed to avoid carbs (polysystic) and protein (kidney) atm...so if i bite the bullet this should helps clear both of them up and then i'll be back to normal.... well pretty much...i was only a size 10-12 but had to take a bucket load of hormones to have bub no 1...and hormones = instant weight...then put 2 kids on top of that its a recipe for disaster

i'm drinking lots of water
and exercising alot...
min1 - 2 hours a day.. i spend at least an hour on my bike cycling and then sit ups... leg and butt crunches etc..
so i am working really hard as well as running around after the kids all day...

i am only eating all the boring food...

for breaky i'll just have some weight watchers tinned fruit
for lunch 1 diet salada with some salad on it...maybe some tuna or ham.... or maybe a tub of no fat yoghurt
and for dinner...salad....and maybe a small bit of tuna or cut up chicken in it...

pretty boring really..

but i'm doing ok... i'd still like to loose another 13kg min and i figure anything after that is a bonus. i only have another 4 weeks of the medication...cause thats all you are allowed to have.. i still feel really fat even though i've lost 17kgs though so who knows what thats about... maybe its cause i've been big for a while now and still cant fit into my pre-baby clothes

Thanks Tabitha,

I wonder if there's a natural, or non prescription appetite surpressant that still works... I might have to try that if there is.
9 weeks is fantastic... when I lost just over 10kg a while ago, it took 12 weeks. I went off track because of christmas and of all the silly season festivities then just didn't get into properly again.... and now it's all back and some :(
It's definatly time to get going with it again, I'll get some 'good' groceries tomorrow and start Monday. :D :D Anyone else going to join us??
posted 2-9-2006 @ 05:08 PM www

um let me think mmmmmm NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
omg i can live with out my ciggies, with out alcohol ,with out sex but i draw the line at food !!!!!!!
well for now anyway:P:D;):P:D
good luck you guys :):):):):):):):):)
i know you can do it,i seem to be eating enough for all of us :P:D;):P;)

Is it ok if I join this thread.

I don't smoke so not much help to u all in that department.

My problem is I am in so much pain I can't use the computer much this weekend. Nearly in tears. The dog broke the bit of this table that slides out then I had to reach up and use the mouse and that really hurt my shoulder. The table is fixed now but my shoulder is really hurting. I really don't know how people live with pain like this.

Has anyone had any success reducing chronic pain and how did u do that?

Does acupuncture work?

It feels like someone is stabbing my in my shoulder at the mo and it's so bad.

Tabitha you are doing so well mate. 17kg is a lot.

:)

Cutting my shoulder off isn't a option. Yes I have asked a lot of times and this hunk of a psycho told me even if I cut my shoulder off I would still have the pain.

lush my hubby suffers chromic pain he has TMJ which is your jaw joint permanently clicking...we have experimented heaps with alot of stuff.... it can be really different for every individual.... but here are some stuff that really worked for us..but as i'm sure you know you can only take so many pain killers so anything that helps is worth a try

Acupunture....i ended up buying needles and learning from the acupunture guy where to put them exactly for his pain... basically you find the point on the ear that correlated to your pain...you can learn to do it yourself if you want a non-invasive was to do this you can fork out for a laser machine and then you can do it without the pain..

Magnet - the one you put on your ears... i dont know where you could buy them but they use much the same principal as the acuptuncture but are also non-invasive..not quite as good as the laser but cheap and always at your dissposal.

Oils and massage...clove oil is very pain numbing you could have a blend made up and massage it into your shoulder, you could also try lavender oil...it not numbing but very soothing..will relax the muscle spasms and give you some relief..

i can think of anything else atm but if i do i'll let you know...bit hard without knowing exactly what is wrong but at least thats a start for you
