Hey, I found a diet buddy... hopefully tomorrow I can convince her to post in here so she is officially on it too.

I've lost 5kg since whenever I started but it's going to be much more fun to have someone starve them self with me ...LOL

:D :D

hmmm thats probably cos you havent been lusting after food, Yippee, I will only nag if you lust after food, however you can lust after allthe blokes you want lol ..
My dad god love him, actually expressed his concern that I may be losing too much weight too fast.. I mean I am a big girl so I certainly need to lose quite a few kilos, and it does seem to be coming off extremely easy at the moment, I think work and stress and kids and everything else are taking there toll. Now if it can keep up for another 20 kilos, LOL
Meanwhile I am glad all is well for you Yippee, keep going and I wont nag you, I promise.

Wish I was losing it so fast Myee, I usually do well at the start too but then I hit limbo and NOTHING... I Hate limbo!!
Were you trying to lose weight Myee or is it just coming off?

Ahhh... there's Muskrat! Good to see you up here, we have about the same amount to lose... so lets do it!! :D

Mummadoris... maybe you could get sugar free lolly pops, or even normal ones cause too much artificial sweetener in anything and... er... yeah! :D :D

My diet got all of nowhere so far. I need to make some big changes and stop eating for comfort, whenever I feel a little challenged I eat, I eat alot of rubbish and its got too change. I just have to get my head into a good mindset. It was so much easier when I had no kids to exercise and diet. Might start walking to work two days a week, and walking the kids to preschool another day.

Good on you Yippee, Myee and Muskrat!

hey Yippee,

hows it going? With my weight loss, I am always on a diet but I never really stick to them. However I think with the giving up smoking thing I am extremely concuious of what I am putting in my mouth cos I didnt want to give up smoking and get fatter than ever. So I am actually eating fairly healthily.
I weighed myself the other day, after my dad had been here, and I have lost 7 kg in about seven weeks, so thats about a kilo a week. which isnt to bad. now If I can keep going at that rate till christmas time, I will be happy.
Meanwhile keep up the good work everybody else, no matter what you are attempting.

Hi all, thought I wouuld update everything before the end of the year, and hopefully hear some of the success stories that may have happened since the lifes support thread started,

firstly I have still given up smoking over 7 months now, or at least according to my stop smoking quit meter it has been 31 weeks 6days, 21 hours and 25 minutes, I have not smoked (and this blows my mind) 6716 ciggarettes and apparently I have saved nearly 3300 dollars. although I cant seem to find that money lol

secondly some of you may have known that my daughter wrote a letter to New Idea for their make a wish article, well my local paper got hold of the story through a local girl here and all the material was donated as well as clearing of the fence line and labour so Tobys fence is a reality and has now been erected and he is now safe and sound , I am so blessed that I live in a truly generous community, however I would also like to thank you wonderful lottos folk for all your support,

Now the diet has gone pretty well too and I am now 15 kilos lighter than I was back in september, so things are pretty ok on that front as well.

Its funny that some of my lottos friends have been so much more supportive of me than some of my 'real life friends'
and I really cant thank you enough,

Have a Merry Christmas,
and I hope that this lifes support thread can help some others out there, no matter what it is, cmon in have a laugh or a cry, and enjoy the company and advice and support of fellow lottoers, :)

Look's like you have kicked the smoking thing too, wow... you have done some awesome self work this year, and it's good to hear the community pulled through with the fence, Congratulations with it all!

I'll be in here first thing next year with a life wish list :D

wow congrats myeesera. You certainly have a few things to celebrate.

wow isn't it amazing how many smokes you would have used if you had kept smoking. Good on you for quitting.

Yep it is really amazing, I had a 30 per day habit. and had tried many times to give up, I love looking at my little calculator and seeing it go up.
If anyone want to give up I can give them the url for this little quit calculator it is truly amazing watching the figures go up..
